The whole diss is layered it questions drake’s identity as a black man, how is drake supposed to be accepted in the black community if he’s a part of the absent father statistic. Also pusha is noting the fact that even though his mother was the only one that truly helped him in life, he shows off his father on a pedestal just to prove that he is black enough, this also ties into the bars abt the afro and the “never black enough” line. Relisten to the diss, its way deeper than you think it is.
