Tian hou Wei was in a very good form back then.. His game of play for this match is extraordinary 👍
That’s probably the best I’ve ever seen Tian play.. he must have been in amazing form that day.. Insanely intense match. If that was me I’d probably sleep for a week after that from the fatigue. Ridiculous cardio and constant concentration..
I was kinda insane watching how on earth those mindblowing defences and return shots keep flying through the air, LCW is the best of his kind, the combination of his game style and disciplining on court is unbelievable
How come CZcams never recommeded this? By far the best badminton singles i have ever seen. What world class match!!
This match should be on top rating.. those rallies were so amazing.. I wish good luck for TIAN his form was like Super Saiyan in this match..
ONE OF THE BEST BADMINTON MATCHES EVER IN THE HISTORY OF BADMINTON.
Not even close :D
No, if you want to know the best match, search for 2011 world championship men singles final. That's the BEST
Tian go lucky
One of the most interesting match i have ever seen so far 😀😀
Watch 2011 world championship final
@@mohamedjubair...12 The greatest match ever
@@mohamedjubair...12 yeah.. that was also good.. but this one is just another level
@@thekumud123 how is this another level ? Lee chong wei played so bad here , bad quality shots. And Tian hou wei wasn’t even close to good. Just see how he play when he playing against lin Dan
@@Zheheng82 because tian lacks consistency and badminton is more mental game may be he feel nervous against lin dan.. same with wei nan ,he destroyed lcw easily and lin destroyed wei nan easily.. and how lcw without good performance reached in this finals .. being a fan is good but ignoring other players efforts is equally bad.. every players have specialities adore it.
I'm still watching this in 2019 ,goodbye legend
I am in 2020 Oct 😅
Tian played fiercely.. With everything he had.. you can see the urgency and will to win in his body language..
Oh my, I got exhausted just by watching this. The intensity and length of so many rallies . . .
Titans defence and smashes were mind blowing
nice autocorrect
One of the best match I have seen so far.. Everything is there speed, position agility..Wow mind blowing..
best match ever! every point was so amazing !
Excellent! 兩人對拆的次數之多,雙方強攻對手皆難下城池,漂亮的經典之戰!
An absolutely amazing match! Tian Hou Wei deserved to win after such resilience!
Even in the highlights i was praying for lee chong wei win. I can't bear some one got point against lee chong wei 😢😭
You must really really hate LinDan then lmao
@@jimyang8824 no i love lin dan also 😘
LoL...
@@jimyang8824 Lin Dan n Chong Wei r GOAT......... nobody can hate Them....if anyone hates dem.... I'll kick dir Ass...
@@hangaobviimai1545 🤣
The reason why lcw is a better player even though he lost this game is because lcw has “consistency” throughout his age.. just watched him play malaysian open 2018.. he practically beat everyone at the age of 36!
upbeatmantis86 ! I Agree With You Bro!! It's A Truth Fact!!!
No kidding, THW has already retired, same with WangZhengMing. LCW is definitely one of the most consistent players of all time. That on top of the fact that Malaysia has not produced any player who can challenge him keep him in the game
Yea. But you can say this whenever he loses
Every player touches the peak of his career and goes down but lcw has never touched his peak so that is why his game so constant
@@ashishkriplani1250 I would say he had his peak in 2010 to maybe like 2014. His prime wasn't way better than his non-prime moments so that's why we don't see it but if we watch the matches, the quality of his game does reduce.
Lee chong wei is the best no matter what...his way of badminton is owesome my ideal 😘😘😘
Angry with you
Best video so far, thx for uploading :DD
Such speed and still good tactical play. I want to see more of it today from him
What a match. Ridiculously high level throughout. Surprised that I missed this. LCW is my fav, but Tian was outstanding in this match. 👒
Loved this they both play so familiar. Only difference would be Tian using lin Dan's type of aggresiveness
incredible match and incredible video thank you very mutch ! :D
Lee u win or loose .u r still my badminton her0
Now fans will say lcw was not well, he was ill, he was not in form, he knowingly didn't play well!! Cmon guys lets appreciate the winner
Debasish Dash ! Hey!! Lin Dan Also Had Lost Lot Of Times With Other Players!!! Mind it
That was years ago😂
No One Says Day U Thinking Too Much
徐颂恩 exactly. 6 years ago he must have been in his prime just like Lin Dan. His selection of shots has always been player no matter who he was playing against.
@Ying already 51 people liked my comment.. so hope you understand that I am correct.... still not. getting, read the maximum comments in the section which supports my statement
love tian houwei's style. he plays very smart& cheeky .wish him all the best in the future.
Both of them were outstanding!!!👏👏
What a breathtaking game ! But where is Tian hou-wei right now?
lol sry for keeping u waiting...being busy with work lately...thanks for the support man.
i looked this guy up, he won 2009 world juniors (after chen long, wang zheng ming). chong wei's getting owned by these rising stars one after another. new era, exciting!
What a Mind blowing match! After a long time seen this kind of game. Lcw is my favourite but this time Tian wins my heart!
Very goog match
Why I haven't seen it before..What a match..❤❤
Jeez! What a game! Not one dull moment
tians defense and smashes were stunning
awesome game game by the unseeded...
What an incredible game!!
That was a legendary match..
Pahhhh seemmma awesome match excellent control temperament
太精彩了!
👏👏👏👏 for their skill and stamina... Just wow..... How many long n tense rallies
one of thebest matches
What a match! test of resilience.
excellent match
Wow nice looking and it's really amazing great moments Play
Amazing game indeed.
Excellent from both players
10:28 that is the lin dan's anticipation
Lin dan had one big step tho lin dan's was better
indeed , very similar , 5:25 too
Wow thrilling match.. 😍
Wow wonderful match best ever
never give.up spirit
Very well played bro against world number one
Alhamdulillah..saya senang sekali melihat Vidio Anda....selalu menonton nya. tahniah memaduk kan ke CZcams.
Fantastic match !
太精彩了
Great game,
some of you may not be aware.. he was actually ill just before coming to Sydney, and was still not 100% recovered when he was there.. so it may have effected his performance
Excited. Feel bad for LCW
Great match...
I has never seen tian fights so hard
Great angle
Wow. The best badminton game ever. I thought there won't be more LCW or LD. But these new kids are taking the game to a whole new level. Human evolution it seems. What happened to THW? We dont see him no more.
see the smashes!!!!!!!!!!wow
It is sad to see that. This is not the Lee Chong Wei of 2011. I think that Lee is going down like Taufik Hidayat did. However, Lee Chong Wei and Taufik Hidayat are still incredible. I hope that Lee Chong Wei will come back!
lcw changed jerseys at 9:45?
Weiei's loss is due to a multitude of factors: he just played average, not extremely well; on the other hand, TIAN played an exceptional game against him.
David Wushuang Zhao nope his strategy has almost always been average.
@@nimbatoad He seemed to have lost the physical explosiveness in this game.
But LCW won the Indonesia open championship recently~
great
Tian's an awesome player!!
лучший матч что я видел))
The best 👌🏻
my heart is pumping, my hands are sweating......
What a speed from Hou Wei..
There is a day for everyone and it was Tian houwei who played well against the world no.1.
But if he should have shown the consistently through out he will be in top 5.
Amazing Tian Hou-Wei
6:19 👌👌👌
Insane recovery by THW
Лучший матч!
superb performance from chn
What a match
Good match
6:20 wow!
lcw isnt trying he cant recover in his injury
LCW is something special.
I wouldn't say his rank reflects hiscapabilities, he still went on the finals, we'll see in the next few tournaments
where is he now tho
Good game
after this game. ...every time when this borth players met. Lee chon wei won the battle
So true.
Epic match... Liked the comeback of LCW, but Tian really really put in a lot of efforts... Lee got the weak point of Tian (back hand drop and smash returns), but still Tian got the hang of it in the last moment. managed to
After LCW and LD, Tian will be a star.
He's gone, man. 😂
Nice game
精彩
how is this considered best badminton match in history. u could see how lee chong wei struggled so much to this opponent simply because of his unique form and play style. you could tell he lost because if of underestimating the player and also not knowing his weaknesses
Lcw looked very tired. Malaysia open 2018 he played against Momota and won, that was a great match played by LCW
You are the best player in tha world.
Great match.Tian won congratulations to him, but the legend lives on LCW. Feel it's time he is losing speed.
I have to say Tian Houwei is the most disappointed player. Came out strong, beat LCW. Then never accomplish anything after. He had potential...
Tian's footwork resembles Lin dan's
Am I the only one in the world who thinks the way Hou Wei uses the racquet is a bit weird?
Constipated Walker yeah something seems a bit off , but I can't quite figure out what, it just looks a bit awkward. but it's the good kind of awkward, and it seems to be working for him very well.
Constipated Walker me too
So I finally figured why Hou wei's form looks awkward. Its the lack of the "guiding hand". Tian rarely use his guiding hand for guidance or fore balance, it just sits there by his body, so it looks like he only has 1 arm when he plays
Excellent observation
That, and he also tends to hold his racket at almost a 90° angle to his arm, and also has slightly weird grips in some situations. His overhead grip is turned towards a panhandle grip more than other pros', and his underhand forehand grip is turned further towards a backhand grip than normal. Makes for slightly unusual angles.
Just the lack of the non-racket hand looks a bit unsual, but not as weird as THW, as you can see with Wang Shixian who used her non-racket arm even less, but had more common technique and as a result looked less weird (or unusual).
THW is also limited by that panhandl-y grip, as he needs to get further behind the shuttle and can create less of an angle -especially from his deep forehand- than other players. LD is one of the best at adjusting his grip, using almost a backhand grip when playing a late overhead shot, extending his reach just a bit to create unexpected angles or give himself room to play a hard smash.
lcw was clearly out of form
For some reason this boy did not go as far as he would’ve loved to beyond this match. It’s hard to see why. Maybe it’s the consistency.
