Welp she just got buffed they added her E1 to her passive and her E4 got a little nerf but her E6 now Brakes the game it’s Stupid OP.
Mhm it was really just a nice QOL thing from her E1. Below E6 she just got slightly easier to play which is still good
I always got gnsw(s5 now) and luka lc(s5 and s1) from wishes. So fate decided to give me acheron . Shes gaurenteed bcz i lost on sparkle 😂

I really do love your takes on this, but I want to discuss Jing Yuan and backloading. You compare Lightning Lord to ultimate usage, and on the surface this isn't a terrible comparison. Both need to be "charged" and can't be used before they're requirements are satisfied. However, that's only half the picture. You don't lose your ultimate charge if your character get's cc'd. You can hold your ultimate to a more specific time not wait for it to show. You can use effects to manipulate how often you get your ultimate (e.g. Huo Huo, ERR rope, and the big mommy of them all Tingyun).
Lore wise, I love King Yuan. I want the King. But every time I've played him from borrowing him, to story to playing on a friends account. I cannot stand to play him. Honestly, had they given LL something like Numby where you could change the dynamics of LL placement (I'm aware of the 10 speed/hit mechanic, I'm ignoring it as it caps at 130 and makes it go from bad to below average) it would make playing him so much better to play. But I don't play a game to look at the overall damage output and solving a math equation (though I do love my math) which is likely comparable to everyone else, but the fun I have and the functionality of the gameplay. We very well may play games for different reasons. It's like you said, Hoyo actually does well to balance the characters out to the point it very well feels like a power equation that get's validated, re-validated, and further re-validated. So I'm not looking at a characters total damage, if they were meant for DPS I assume Hoyo made them overall very competitive with other units.
All of this said, this is my personal take on why I still haven't pulled for him even though I really want him. And with that very clear message it screams "Hey this guy is talking from a complete position of ignorance and making claims without usage (minus the trials mentioned above)" and you'd be very right. So yeah, I'd love to see a defense of Jing Yuan from a gameplay perspective and let's stop talking about tier lists, they're dumb.
Honestly, you are very right. Math and whatsoever really doesn’t matter if you don’t personally enjoy the mechanics of a character and how it works.
I do think Jing Yuan is good objectively, but having LL max out at 130 speed instead of instantly taking a turn at 10 stacks is a huge waste.
From a gameplay perspective, I think Jing Yuan is only really “fun” for me and perhaps you as well with Huo Huo, Sparkle and a pretty insane build with good speed tuning.
I think gameplay wise Acheron will be a lot more fun for me as well so I can’t really defend Jing Yuan in that context.
It is probably just not worth it for you to pull Jing Yuan I’d say, even if you really like the character.
Jing Yuan requires very good investment not just for himself, but most of his supports as well (Sparkle especially) to really feel powerful and “fun” and because of Relic RNG, Jing Yuan might just feel really bad for a while until you get a great build LOL.
Well unless you have money to spare and it doesn’t really matter what you spend it on!
And don’t worry I don’t refer to tier lists at all :P
Also theres an ongoing arguement about her being team restricted which is She cant use Harmony units which makes her Bad(somehow)
As you already stated She already has huge Bonuses to circumvent those Problems.
But i also think that Those who argue about her team restriction doesnt take A moment to think that It may be a good thing because HSR endgames Runs In 2 teams and you mostly need a buffer in each team,With acheron You could focus all your Harmony units on Your other team while Acheron Has Her Nihility/sustain team by herself which i see is a Huge Deal Because that means i only need to focus on Her and a sustain as long as i can provide the debuffs needed for her Energy stack
Yeah I've seen, it's quite funny actually. E2 allows you to use harmony units and is one of the biggest increase in damage in her kit. A strong support isn't going to increase your damage by much if your base kit is bad in the first place. In fact, precisely because there's such a huge increase, her base kit is VERY STRONG.
It is crazy how this fact goes over so many people's heads.
Any idea what is her best harmony at e0s1?
So far Sparkle has given me a huge damage increase in my calculations.
People seem to tend to Fire MC with Trend of Universal Market though
I think if people don't like her just skip her 🤷it's not necessary to pull for her also yup there are some draw backs of her but I can see fixing them with release of new characters just like kafka btw what is hell is wrong with your Dr ratio ?? He is crazy like how ??? 😵💫😵😵
