First of all, nice vid bro!
Second, yeah... He's not weak, but the problem in my opinion it's that Def red it's a lot easier to stack/find than Vulnerability, so it's easier to Pela's debuff be as good or better than the JQ with characters that don't do almost all dmg as ult dmg, like Acheron.
Jingliu for 0 Cycles for example, she have the 10% from quantum set, 12% from her sig LC and with Pela E5 + Resolution LC R5 it's more 58, with it's 80% Def red, if you have RM E1 then it's more 20% with it's 100% already. And we have other characters, LC and sets with Red the Def (like Seele resurgence, BS skill, Boothill/Ratio LC, the DoT and Break set and Sparkle's E2).
And another problem it's that atm he's SP negative to 3T ult (unless you are doing a 0 Cycle, then he's 2 SP Positive), and Pela it's positive or neutral depending of the situation. But Pela have problems to debuff new enemies and new waves, JQ it's rlly good at this with it's a rlly positive thing.
So I think for him to be really good in the final version they need to improve his energy/SP and give him either more debuffs (maybe lower his ult vulnerability and pass this removed part to his general vulnerability) or make him do more damage.

Yeah what matters is more petals for Acheron from Jiaoqiu, almost twice from Pela.
he gives more stacks for archeron, more dmg overall for archeron and if leaks are correct, fully geared he can be played as a mid hypercarry - so he will increase overall dmg of the team with his own dmg. I think i am sold for replacing my pela for my archeron team
The only reason he was good was because he had healing in his kit. They realized that was overcooking and it would make non-sustain DoT teams the norm, which would make the strongest team comp in the game a magnitude stronger than every other team comp. Removing his heals makes him DOA. He is now mid, on the same level as Argenti and Boot Hill who was powercrept literally in the next banner. He is only good for Acheron, but Acheron is so strong that she doesn't need help -- Dotcheron teams are one of the strongest and most played already.
The only real reason to pull for him is if you are a fujoshi or gay who likes his design. Unless you're brand new to the game, you should already have a built Pela who can do his job just as well without having to waste a single pull. An 8% damage gain will not improve your clears by even a single cycle, and you'll have to waste a ton of energy farming and building for him.
i would say hes not necessary to make acheron team comps strong, but the 100% uptime debuff and his capability of applying debuffs outside of his turns already allows acheron teams rival firefly since she can charge her ult much faster, that alone made him a lot stronger than many limited units especially when you can use him in pure fiction and many gamemodes where you have to continuously apply debuff onto waves of enemies. He is doing a better job than pela in debuffing, even better job in charging acheron ultimate. Is he gamebreaking? No, but definitely strong, they may buff him by a little more but if not then its alright to leave him where he is. Also boothill isnt powercrept, its just those goofy ah game developers turning ff into a cash grab by overbuffing and making many signatures for her.
