6:48 When Frosted said Gay Baby Hero, I couldn't help but laugh along to its true definition.
You know a lot about sniping, don't you?
literally 720 no scoped the 125 12 patterns
sniping jordan 175

I thought sniping was with the gun?

I just want you to know your videos help me alot mentally.
Glad I can help!

1:35 saw this the day before soulless 5 got fc’ed
Thank you for this video! As someone trying to get into CH it's super helpful to learn and now watching streams and videos is a lot more fun knowing what things are called and recognizing them in game.
Thank for reup, this is a useful one (even tho I know them all) this is good for newer people in the community
Now for the Q&A re-up. Can't wait
Good to know that the same pattern can have different names (I been using the term Running Man for Castles and I have seen Anchor before for parts like the TTFAF Intro)
6:42 Grace notes are hard to get used to unless you're just a flat out gamer chad and strum HOPOs anyways
I never knew those existed lol i mean yeah i totally knew that and am chad with big wealth yes
Thanks for reuploading, this is a great video!
Learned more here then a full day in college
I've played guitar hero pretty much daily for an hour or so since GH:Metallica was released and I still didn't know a lot of these terms. Everytime a new tech is found and named it's hard to find out what its even called. This video is awesome. Thanks for that
First documented dictionary hero FC
I feel like I've just sat through a class of university.
finally ive been looking for a video like this for so so long
Fc= Free Chicken. Y’all want some?
when you're talking about quints, it's showing alternating ascending/descending quads on the screen, which lines up with your definition of taking up the span of 8 notes
I guess later that pattern gets defined as 'quint zig', but seems like 'quint zig' is made up of alternating linear quads, 'quad zig' made up of alternating linear trips, etc
This game truly is a gift
Was NOT expecting a simpleflips reference in this clone hero video XD
I like ur stuff man
Great video dude!

For an example outside of the Soulless series, Paint It Black has Soulless Strumming without the HOPOs.
the whole point of soulless strumming is that it has hopos
An example from the main series games that actually has the hopos is Play With Me.
Shoutouts to SimpleFlips
appreciate the reupload
If I have played or seen a chart before, but it's been such a long time since I've last seen that chart that I've forgotten how it looks like, is it considered a sightread or playread when I'm playing that chart "for the first time" according to my eyes and memory?
I hope you have the Wyvern fc vid still
What does vGH / vCH stand for? Using context clues I *assume* it's shorthand for "version for guitar/clone hero" because it's always an existing song that has been altered to better fit being playable in the game, but I don't know if this is actually what it means.
it stands for version guitar hero/clone hero
I've come to learn that Cummy Yupcakes is not average at clone hero lol I feel better about myself now.
Yeah uh what's the term for when you google the phrase "Modchart that doesn't make me motion sick " or when you constantly play on medium and *maybe* hard, or when you can't seem to pull your fingers off frets fast enough (I call it "sticky fingers"), or when you just suck in general, or when-
how does one do 'meme' raking ive seen many people do it but ive never figured out how to perform it.
take your first second and third finger and spread them out, then just slide all of the fingers accross the button you want to
What are chopped chimney’s?
What does ERG mean? I've seen it on some gh and rb fc videos.
Sorry to comment on an old video but for the term Hyperspeed, is that the same as the Hyperspeed in GH2? (GH3 was mentioned) When I got into the series, I was playing the games with a friend. He always used the Hyperspeed cheat and thats how I learned to play that game years and years ago. I dont know GH3 so I'm curious if its the same or similar.
Yes, they are the same system - in Clone Hero it's called "Note Speed" now
i know this video is old as hell now but what are squeezes? i see guitarheroROXS talk about squeezes in every single one of his video descriptions and despite playing this game for like 13 years now i have no idea what the hell they are (probably because i never really messed with scorehero back in the day but)
squeezes is abusing the timing window to get as many notes in a star-power activation as possible. aka, hitting the first note of the star power late, and the last few early to get extra points
@@Frif didnt expect u to reply since the video is so old tbh ty frost ily
i still want to know how to speed up songs on keyboard
What's the Custom Editor shown starting from 2:13?
Yeah that's the Moonscraper Chart Editor
I have seen the term “rgh” before on twitch chats. Is that related to guitar hero?
I don't think so
probably you wont see this, but what "PiP" means? i've seen it written in so many videos i dunno what it means
"Picture in Picture", showing both webcam and game.
@@Frif thanks for responding man ;)
3:56 where is the red snake REEEEEEEEEEEEE
ok but why is i am going to be switzerland a meme
Pretty late to ask but what is a reverse choke?
pretty late to answer but it's when a player loses a combo on a normally easy part of a song, usually when they had already gotten through the hard parts. take acai's crisis city choke for example
If soulless 5 we're fcd today would it be first ever or is it only from tomorrow onwards?
First ever. What do you mean by "only from tomorrow onwards?" FCs don't have an expiration date.
@@timmyp9408 r/whooooosh
Chimneys are in soulless 4, and the bass solo of rime of the ancient mariner.
what pattern ISNT in soulless 4
@@Liravin quads
@@kpddog1962 there are quads right before the outro starts, correct me if I'm wrong.
and in Mercy
and right after Dark Solo
ok, I claim to have FC'd soulless 5 first, so everyone else is next documented
What are tap notes and all those note names there are like strum note and others???
Strum note -> The normal note. The one you see all the time. The one that's opaque and not glowing.
Hammer-on/Pull-off (Hopos) -> The opaque notes that glow. These can be hit without needing to strum, but only if you hit the note directly before it. If you miss, you will be required to strum.
Tap notes -> The notes that are almost transparent. These, like hopos, can be hit without needing to strum, but do not need to be hit in succession. If you miss the note before a tap note, you can still hit the tap note without needing to strum.
Hope that helped.
Oh btw, open notes are the purple line things
DoubleOK thanks
What is a HOPO?
Hammer-on pull-off. They’re the notes that appear with a white, glowing center and don’t have to be strummed as long as the note before was hit.
Can go over what esketit means?
A cry for help
Es =l lets
Ketit = get it.

Yea.
6:05 isn’t this in Paddy’s Lament from GH5’s dlc?
Frosted! You forgot caged
How do I do the purple bars?

If a song has sections that have no notes do they need to be played for a tech FC to counted?
no, because those have no notes in there, you would be wasting time
@@thenihilanth3382 so basically, a no notes make an FC impossible?
Why did your record soulless 5 video get taken down?
@@kingleanie r/technicallythetruth
what does a full series mean? I heard it in acai’s soulless 5 fc
it refers to having every fc in a series of content, such as soulless 1-5
@@Frif that makes more sense
I suddenly realize I’m out of my depth.
Whats FC Closer?
Im hoping “plate” is in here because this one is really confusing me

Fuck triangles.

what is Leafgreening?
Spamming the frets
What is Chad rakeing?
What’s ghost tapping?
what is pathing?
What is Disc Songs?
Any song that is in the game by default in any of the Rock Band or Guitar Hero series, these are all available on the Clone Hero google doc
How about grace notes and forced notes?
Grace notes are a strum followed by a hopo right afterwards
Forced notes refer to a charting tech that changes a note from it's normal state to it's inverse, aka a strum to a hopo regardless of step/bpm
Is a vGH the same as an overchart?
Not really, it’s more a song specifically made/edited for Guitar Hero.
Zoruastrianism ok thanks, I was just thinking it was and overchart due to crisis city having it in the name
Archer No, that’s the original chart.
What’s an h?
You forgot the timestamps!
8:20 he’s just holding down the red button. I don’t really understand that. I thought you were supposed to press every individual one?
not HOPOs/Taps. with them, you can anchor a lower note by holding it down, and whenever you hit higher notes they will play and when you let go of the tapped higher note the anchor will play. this can also be shown at 2:31 where you anchor green and then tap the higher notes.
What is a hopo?
The white notes
6:49 shoutouts to frostedgh's long lost brother
I'm still confused: what does HOPO mean?
Hammer-ons and pull-offs
@@BleuChicken and those are?
@@matiasvahervuori876 @Matias Vahervuori Those are the notes that glow white and have the black circle removed. You can tap those notes and not have to strum at all, but only if the note before it is successfully played, otherwise you'll have to strum it.
The difference between the two are that hammer-ons are ascending notes, and pull-offs are descending notes.
The GH3 in-game tutorial can offer a good visual lesson and explanation if you're still confused.
What’s pb
personal best
Where is the s5 run of 7934 note streak
lost the video file
I assume this is the reupload?
yep
What's a pcplayer

i hope you read the description as well
if yall spam or ghost yall gotta get gud m8 XD
spamming is kinda scummy but the only way to do certain sections of songs and ghosting is a valid method lmao
