Ur dragon was my first deck ever and I'm planing to re build it soon. What I wanna ask is, why didn't you wait a few more days to put the new dragons in?
it's a fun deck, and great question, and few reasons. One its going to take more than a few days at this rate to get the new cards, and two it will take even longer for me to do play testing (honestly probably not going to have an update for a few month). And finally, I made some edits slowly over the course of the pandemic to now, so I like having like these videos/lists up as a way of tracking builds/progress over the course of playing the deck.

my first ever deck I made (custom) was the ur dragon. Mine nm still and love playing her.
It's a really fun deck :) my usual go to these days when I have the time to play
@@MetallicTCG ya. I just redid mine and made it like 20 creatures and 36 lands i believe. All the creatures were 98% have to do with treasure.
I like it, and yeah some newish dragons out there are great for treasure like old gnawbone. I plan on doing a revise list sometime later on

I like it honestly lools like how mine did about when it first came out , i messed around with it, spent a ton of money it's still fun scary at the table everyone at least has to make an agreement on who's watching me today kind of deal, if you want some big time idea's honestly look up some of the new mimyum* deck profiles the new spirit dragon
Ps combo spirit dragon. Terror of the peaks + bladewing the risen = infinite over kill
Oh yeah, it's to the point where playing this deck IRL is a pain since the land base is $$$, even mine is stil abit pricy, not even including things like ancient tomb and what not. Though I like how it performs for the time, along with the budget I've assigned it, since we all know that some cards have spiked considerably!

Why you don't use site like edh rec or moxfield for tour decklist?
Why?? Real card always better !
Main reason is I'm more familiar with Tapped out in that fashion, like EDH rec is super helpful at looking at ideas for building decks, but never really used it to upload deck lists itself.
A couple things that don't work exactly as you think. Scion the Ur dragon does not enter the battlefield so any cards he copies from the GY don't get ETB effects. Also for Kodama the east tree, he doesn't pair well with Utvara because tokens only have a CMC of 0. So when Utvara makes a token it does trigger but you can pretty much only play 0 CMC cards.
Fair points :) I was aware of the Scion thing, I may have miss spoken on that so my bad, the idea was to like cheat out a dragon with like an attack trigger effect sort of thing, cause your right that the scion already misses the timing of ETB/copies from GY and good point about the tokens being 0 CMC . I may have thought it was checking power, not CMC during the recording.
@@MetallicTCG That makes a lot of sense man, when you play a bunch of commander games (which I'm sure you do) effects tend to get blurry and similar often. Also even without those triggers this deck is a potent deck lmao, thanks for the content and info!
Glad you enjoyed it! And yeah haha, trying to remember all the manual triggers at times can be hard. I had a bit of issues at first with my chulane teller of tales deck haha

That's cool :) I plan on doing more upgrades and making it faster later down the road, but for now, it's a good starting point.
