He recently said how happy he is now that he's gone full time back to Ascension of the Watchers. *Dino has kept the band going and has made what seems right now, to be a good decision on the replacement vocalist. Speaking of time, I was working full time when I bought Soul of a New Machine on cassette when it was first released, so you can stop acting like a 16-year-old child on Call of Duty calling everyone "kid" mmmkay?
@@rn6380 so if you hold such knowledge about burtons decline over the years you shouldn't be praising someone who's a far younger fresh vocalist who sounds worse in the first week then it took burton damn near 25 years to sound that bad...the newbie sucks it was a rushed decision and a bad choice period
How does this give you hope when he's just mimicking Burton? Their new album is the real test. Also, Burton in his prime was insanely better than the new guy is .

Seems to be doing pretty good so far if you read the comments from people that have been to the new shows. How long did it take for BCB to reach his prime? Milo's had maybe half a year at most to get ready for this.
I hope Dino takes care of his health so we can have another 10 years of FF. I want to hear what Milo sounds like after doing this for a few years. I remember seeing Black Dahlia Murder in early 00's when the only album they had out was Unhallowed and just like Milo, Trevor sounded really good, but Trevors voice just got better every year I saw them. I feel like Milo has potential to reach those heights.
As a singer I can tell you when you get into your 40s you don't have the same voice you do as when you're in your 30's. You don't bounce back as quickly. You have to take a lot more precautions and sharpen your technique. Relying on Raw ability is just gonna tear you up. There are those rare freaks of nature. So we'll see. As a 37 year singer Milo is literally right in his prime. Good luck to him in all sincerity..The only weakness I'm hearing is breath support. More oxygen being pushed from the diaphragm is definitely needed on those growls and screams at the end.

Yhea, feels like the movie "Rockstar". Milo the copycat /fanboy does big tours with his favorite band for life and after the magic is gone, he quickly discover he's lost a his personality and karakter and need to run the hell away 🤣 Still, I hope they get a good time, but we'll see.....
Sounds alright. I still feel like it's a FF tribute band these days though. Whilst it was a struggle to watch live shows as Burton's voice declined to me it sounds like Milo's voice is still relatively weak as his speaking voice is significantly louder than his scream or singing

Pretty good. I wish he would utilize more vocal dynamics, he’s a little too out front in the choruses especially which make it sound a bit karaoke. I like Milo as the drummer better than the previous replacement guy for sure. I do miss Raymond, I assume neither he nor Burton will ever be back. The current bass player is good too. Although I liked Christian on bass way back when. I assume he’s gone forever as well.
This sounds like a good Fear Factory tribute band. Sounds nothing like the FEAR FACTORY I grew up with. Not musically nor vocally. Sounds to be a completely different band. Appreciate the upload regardless. This new vocalist is doing his best I can tell but he doesn't have half the volume or power Burton did. I'd say 1/4 the volume breath support.
I have noticed that he holds the mic out to the audience at times that don't seem to make a lot of sense. Like he expects them to know all the lyrics, when half of them barely know the chorus
Milo is on point, he's a fan boy?! Everything about him is Burton. These performances are great but at the end of the day he is covering. The real test will be when Dino writes 15-20 new ideas and says, what can you do with these kid.

He seems to be using audience participation as something of a crutch to help him get through an hour of intense screaming every night, along with other things like not holding notes for as long. Which I totally understand, he's doing way better than I ever could. They threw him in the deep end, and he's swimming just fine. This is just nitpicking about the form of his butterfly stroke.
The rest of the band is killing it, but this new singer is adequate at best. His clean vocals are shaky and off key throughout, and his gutturals are OK at best. I suspect this kid was hired because he's young and naive and easily led about because of it. Will he improve with time? One can hope, but as someone said down there? Dealing with Dino is eventful in and of itself, it would appear.
