Wow, what a beautiful performance, just listened to your arrangement of the Losing time/Grand finale. My only regret is that you didn't publish this on a DVD - would buy it instantly!
Well done!
Very beautiful!
@ntcs absolutely right!!!
Amazing !!
The only disappointing thing here is the low audio quality. Supurb performance.
I want them at DT's 30th anniversary concert.
aww the power of this song's ending is a little lost in translation, but oh well, the rest of this is superb!!
I would marry the girl that plays the arp... and so wonderful song by dream theater... it's awesome that someone had the idea of re-arranging this song for an orchestra! come to Greece please!!! :-)
@ivaneduardo747 they did fuck up the solitary shell part in overture lol...but yeah they r both good! i do prefer this version though
@ntcs It's not crappy! Or maybe it is, I haven't heard enough orchestras nor know too much music appreciation to tell. Why is the Octavarium Orchestra crappy?
it kinda reminds me of something in final fantasy...
@soocool78 Definitely agree there, but having all that background screaming and crying would be hard to do with an orchestra.
Eargasm
@ntcs I think the Octavarium orchestra had like, almost no time to prepare or something, but I agree, their timing and rhythm was pretty bad... still, they were better than no orchestra! :)
i would have preferred to hear a soprano sax instead of an obo
i doubt she would 'ave you since you can't spell the name of 'er instrument correctly
