My god I wish there was a higher quality video and audio for this masterpiece
beatiful
Ahhhhh. Perfect! Just perfect!
@JCRUDESS Thank you very much, it is an honor to have your comment!
GENIUS
The epitome of epicness, you cannot level up after this.
chill up my spine!!!
Awesome!!!
really good, the drums are perfect with the depth of the orchestra and all it's parts.
this is something that should be done more.
awesome!!!
need recordings of this soooo bad
Epic!!!!!
Wow, you people kick ass!
@ErenBasbug I think we both know the answer. Congratulations and AWESOME work!
Diamond level
Great job!
f'n awesome job!!!
if i were a Conductor or a member of Orchestra, I'd never do this song because it's so hard to play.
amazing...
amazing!!
The violin soloist is great!
awesome *-*
Being a musician too, I consider this one of the toughest and most beautiful pieces of music I've ever heard. Arranging it to a classical orchestra, althought seemingly easy, it's a complicated work - transposing electrical sonorities to acoustic ones is quasi-always an ingrateful job. Still, it's perfectly done here. Let me remind those more obscure to the musical knowledge that on the DT 20th aniversary concerto in Radio City Music Hall, the Octavarium Orchestra DID NOT played this part (cont)
Aside from this being beyond awesome (and I haven't even listened to the other 7 parts yet!), how cool is it that Jordan Rudess himself went out of his way not only to comment, but also to thank YOU for doing this?! I can hardly imagine a greater compliment! And how cool is JR for doing that?!
What an Amazing orchestral arrangement Mr. Eren. Never crossed my mind that dream theater song especially this one could be played in a symphony orchestra version. Truly AMAZING!
@JCRUDESS
You Sir, are the personification of the control of madness - love your work =D
COME BACK TO PORTUGAL
omfg!
I love the guitar and keyboard solos on the violins XD
OMG! This is AWESOME!!!!!!
I can't stop seeing the rest!
@Dieterbe the drummer is in the left corner... in other videos the camera shows him.
What the crap this is insane! And I rarely say that
holy crap wow!
Love it! Amazing job!
this is beyond incredible
Man, you're amazing... You should release a CD with all of these magnificent covers.
I'd buy it.
This song is considered a fictional earthquake of Magnitude 10.8, in the largest city of Golden-Universe, near the North Pole, New-Gabramakox (in the Planet Hephaistos).
UNBE-FUCKIN-LIEVABLE!!!! Great Job!
i knew it is great song, but now i know for sure. is there a good audio quality version?
I love the screaming :)
Great that you even thougth of that!
@ErenBasbug I think it sounds awesome with the drum kit! There is nothing wrong with rock-style drumming to orchestra music :)
D.T. is the best!!!
fuckin awesome... symphony plays dream theater... thats something ;) :)
@ErenBasbug hahah awesome! i was just thinking about that yelling at that point but never thought you would be yelling there :D afterwards i read the comments! :)
great work!
OH... Tour England for me
@vortexcito
They did, see the top rated comment ;)
Its amazing that you've found a player to reproduce God's(John Petrucci, our lord and savior) work, no less on a different instrument!
The entire album was amazing, and you made an awesome rendition of it!
AWESOME job! No wonder why you area now working with JR!
Just 1 question: why did you choose to have a drumset live ? Wouldn't have been better with orchestra percussion alone ? Thanks!
awesome!
but where is the durmmer?
also, i've never seen so many girls play good music at the same time.
I do know that. Of course, that wasn't the case when I posted my comment TWO YEARS AGO. :-)
Is this available as an MP3? I want it soooo bad!
They have projects together you know....
Time is the essence,eh?
Dream Theater forever!!! \m/,
What's the name of this Orchestra??? please someone please tell me!
is there an audio studio version??
Hi Eren do you have a profile page some where I am trying to collect Career profiles of awesome Musician so I can Pressent your Work to our Fledgling School of Music.
(continuation...)
...which, given their quality, I was glad they didn't!! The Oct. orchestra has out of tune instruments, poor sense of rhythm and SEVERELY lacked technique to accompany DT on any night!
On the contrary, this orchestra presents all of this AND, as a plus, it's a young people's orchestra!! The string solos were amazing, perfectly tuned orchestra, the dynamics were respected AS SO the spirit ot the theme. You DESERVE entirely the apraisal from JR, and everyone else's too!! :D
Amazing arrangement and performing, but he lacks skill in conducting.
