@sunglance Hi Sunglance, Your contractors can view the data by using DWFx technology from Autodesk. All the files, project management files etc can be published. You can also use Buzzsaw or other EDM software such as Meridian. The greatest advantage is a BIM (Building information Model), changes are reflected real time via the disciplines lowering costs and mistakes. A Change in one view represents a change in all views. This vid has lots of good information, however, it is not from scratch...you have created somethings that I don't know how you did it. From scratch implies you start from nothing...and here you have lots..
great upload but I have a issue with roof..everything worked fine but when I did the slope arrow it shows error that ''can't make footprint roof''. Please can anyone help me out here.
Hi, I'm new using the Revit software program; I was wondering if you might teach the same video (revit from scratch) in a newer version. I operating the 2013 and it appears that some of the commands in 2009 are not in the 2013, perhaps they are but i'm not sure how to find them looking at the 2009 version.. Thanks

You make revit look easy.. but I guess it is designed to be "easy" to make construction documents. I'm going to have to try this out.

Does anyone know if Revit can produce a material sheet that will include the number of studs and joist etc. used on the construction model.

His template cut out lots of up front time that he did not show. Still he was pretty good.
