Thank you so much for your video. I'm looking for that how to create work set by selecting coordinated area just to make sure the other people cannot change my area. Now I have such a simple and perfect guide from this video.
hey nice video. what if you already have a central model ????? all videos about worksets starts with creating a central model. I allready have a central model , is this an issue???
Was wondering if one can split worksets into architecture and interior design so our interior designer can work within revit and do her modeling and drafting but not be able to mess with walls, windows, roofs, ceilings, etc?
This is a stupid question, but what's the deal with the double doors that have one door larger then the other? for example, look at 9:30 into the video. At the point you change a symmetrical double door to an A-symmetrical double door.
I don't know if this is gonna answer your question, but the larger door wing is to be used frequently, while the smaller one remains locked in place. When there is a need to pass through with a larger item (wardrobe), you unlock the smaller one so there is a place for passage. Local standards define a representative object of specific dimensions, that you must be able to carry through hallways, openings, etc. While the smaller wing remains unneeded, it is unnecessarily expensive to buy symmetrical double wing door.
excellent explanation on revit worksets ! loved it ! got to learn something new ! thanks a lot !

I would love to know how you created two different sets of drawings at different scales? 1:100 & 1:50 This has been driving me insane recently

At 5:30 you didn't create a new local file because of the checkbox is inactive. Why the checkbox was inactive?
