As a Scotsman, it broke my heart when England beat Cameroon in 1990, ever since I have been a fan of and loved the Indomitable Lions, I love their attacking style, Roger Milla epitomised that footballing philosophy, legend, respect!

I remember watching this amazing team and players, especially in Italy 90. Roger Milla is a legend! I didn't eat the day they lost against the English. Sad day. All of Central America was waving the Cameroonian flag, they shocked the world! I was just about 14 years old, 1990 was a WC I remember very well. Great times.

True! That was and still is because of the ceiling put by their European coaches who set their limits. The European coaches sabotaged their psychological preparedness when they reached the latter stages of the game. Had they been employing their own home grown coaches they would have probably won several world cups by now. No team in world cup history has ever won the world cup using a foreign coach! That is why in Russia 2018 I am going with Tunisia and Senegal for they have local home grown coaches this time.
