The NBA has to bring back the Sonics. The city deserves an NBA team, and I know i'm not the only one who misses the green, gold, and white uniforms. The Sonics had the best uniform aesthetic in sports.
RicoSuaVe i definitely wouldn't say the best 😂 they went together but boston will always have the best green unis, and red white blue jerseys like the 76ers, clippers, wizards and pistons look way better than the sonics did, and purple/gold>green/gold so lakers over sonics too, lets not forget the bulls, heat and raptors and blazers with classic red/white/black, or the spurs with their simplicity and the blue/orange for the Knicks, the sonics jerseys are only hyped up now because theyre harder to find and retro jerseys are popping off, theres been WAY better esthetics for jerseys with actually good colors lmao
Lol the Sonics jerseys are a personal favorite but since you made me think. There are some other ones that look pretty dope as well. But idk, the Green, white, and gold Seattle Sonic home unis were gorgeous.

Been 12 years and losing the Sonic's still hurts. They're building a new arena though, completely tearing down the old one and building a totally new one except for what they're calling the "historic roof". Looks like it's gonna be super nice and we're getting an NHL team with it. I'm very happy about that. Fingers crossed hard that we'll get an NBA team as well in the near future.

Growing up a Rockets fan, there was only one other team in the league i ever had any love for, and that was the Seattle Supersonics
Key Arena was the smallest in the NBA at the time. I can see why the SuperSonic ownership wanted a new one, even if it was new-ish. It was about only 12 years old before the Sonics moved to OKC. Nevertheless, Seattle NEEDS an NBA team! Also, maybe KD would've stayed if the organization was still in Seattle. Not much opportunity for growth in Oklahoma City.

I was there… it was awesome! I remember going to KeyArena with my mom back in the mid-2000s watching Ray Allen & Rashard Lewis on the Seattle Supersonics, even got to see a playoff game where they beat either the Grizzlies or the Kings.
