Idk if someone already commented that but they're called dotting tools. They're called that because they're literally used to make dot designs. And that BT21 mold is awesome.
I just got into making resin art & I am addicted lol. My favorite part is getting to try different additives & preserve nature (I live in maine & currently keep autumn forever) Your videos have been so helpful I am glad I found you & your shop. Can't wait to grab some cute molds!
I'm slowly building a collection of resin bits and pieces (glitter, charms, molds etc!) while I just watch as many tutorial videos as I can! (I think I've lost hundreds of hours of my life so far) Only thing holding me back is I have to make a space to set it all up! (Plus i'm a little scared of messing stuff up)
I've literally overran my downstairs living space with of my crafting gadgets and supplies. So I completely understand about making space, hopefully in the future I can have my own separate crafting room. :)
I've been working with resin and molds for a few months. I love adding glitters! I've recently grown to love glitter, so I love being able to make new things with it.
I’ve been meaning to start resin but it was only yesterday that I decided to actually give it a go! I think what held me back was the cost factor, bc the resin itself isn’t cheap, and I was scared that if I didn’t like it that it would be a waste of money. But after watching so many videos I decided to give it a go! I think what made me interested was how you can customize it to be whatever you want, and the unmolding is so satisfying!!
You are very talented. Thank you so much for sharing. I have been working with epoxy for about 8 months now. I have done my sewing machine cabinet and my bench top and saved thousands. I have done a few molds and would love a shaker mold. Michele Brookes
I love working with resin! The best parts of Resin, are making the charms super glittery and sparkly. :) I recently found your channel and shop and love your products! Thank you so much for your informative videos.
I´m quite new to resin, just collecting molds and other stuff and watching videos for learning "how to do it". I don´t have an instagram . In Finland everything is pretty expencive so I have to make sure that I know how before I start doing
I'm new to resin and I just purchased a starter kit to get started! my favorite part is demolding and mixing in pigments and glitters/sequins, you can never go wrong with some glitter ig: softsticker
I've been working with resin for the past few months, although I have only used UV resin as I haven't worked up the nerve to try using 2 part resin. I have loved watching videos like yours, seeing all the creative projects is truly inspiring! I don't instagram :)
I'm starting resin for the first time on the 5th of December. I have some molds comming in the mail too, but they are not very good quality. I also have no pigments yet, but I plan on buying those next mth.
I really want to begin to make resin stuff. I've been suffering a lot of anxiety lately and it seems like it would help me. Thanks for the tutorial. I haven't started yet, I have been wanting to but the extra income isn't there, right now. P.S. they are called Nail Dotting tools.
I haven't started doing resin yet, but I'm really eager to! I haven't started mostly because I can't really afford to, at this point. I don't have an instagram, unfortunately
i keep trying to paint a specific mould first try, was quite detailed and great ... buuuuuuut the blue resin went under the paint because i made the mistake using UV Resin instead of Epoxy before I poured the blue resin 2nd try was a fail because the details didn't come out too well but on the other hand no resin went under the paint now after a few weeks i did a 3rd try, but ended up with a huge mess with the paint, that is mostly still stuck in the mould :( Watching your video i realized I didn't wait long enough for the paint to dry So let's hope that the 4th try will be more successful
im new to resin and love your channel. whats holding me back is funds and finding a good resin that is cheap in australia. gl to everyone . dont have instagram
Thanks for sharing your tips on pre-painting the molds, I've never tried this, and am starting to wonder if it might work better than post-demolding? I'm excited to try it!
Thank you so much for hosting this giveaway!! I was thinking of starting resin, but I'm still looking for where to get the materials for it where I live. Otherwise I already have lots of decorations and ideas for what I want to make >u
I’ve been working with resin for almost half a year now, and I’d have to say my favorite part is the design process! I love coming up with something cute after being in an art block! Although impatiently waiting for your pieces to dry is another thing 💀 lol I’m @/static.channel on insta!

Hello. I'm from Russia and I first saw resin products on instagram. But for a very long time I couldn't understand what it is and how people do amazing things, because I have some problems with my knowledge of English. In the end, I figured out and for about 6-7 months I make a variety of resin charms and pendants. Unfortunately, many resin firms sell it expensively and it was difficult for me to find an inexpensive resin, but which would be good. Another problem is the mold for pouring, in my city it is difficult to find suitable, you have to order through the Internet in my country, but the choice is still a little, and the price is expensive. Often I look at molds from other countries, but it still costs a lot, especially shipping, so I'm going to someday create the forms I need on my own, but I think it will be quite a while, so far it's only in the plans. Now I'm more confident in my abilities, so soon I'm going to open my own store, so that my products are stored not only for me, but also to please other people. Now I have difficulties with coming up with a name and logo for my shop, but I hope that soon I will come up with a brilliant idea. The favorite part about working with resin is the work itself. I am interested in mixing resin, choosing pigments and sequins, coming up with a design for the future product. I am also interested in getting ready-made products from molds. Often the result is what I planned, but sometimes it comes as a surprise. Very often, the charm of the product is added by trapped air bubbles. And the moment of waiting, when the resin will harden and you can get the product - this is the most difficult, it's hard to restrain yourself, but I try to restrain :) And I want to thank you for your channel and video, they are made amazing, very informative, especially for beginners. Even though I don't understand everything(due to my poor knowledge of the language), I'm really looking forward to the new video. *о* my instagram: @lady_anastas
I've wanted to do resin, but it's expensive and I'm always afraid of messing up. I have a mold but no resin to use it with, so maybe this will give me a kick in the fanny to try it.
I love your videos and creations! I’m wanting to start using resin as it looks really fun, any tips on what I could start with? And also how do you make your silicone moulds? Xx
I dont know if I missed it, but do you use a mold release spray? Do you spray it before painting or can you not use release spray when painting the molds?

Reminds me of Naruto 😍 I’ve been doing resin for more than a year now, so anyone who wins is very fortunate, this craft is pretty pricey 🤧 I really love just pouring in different colors and glitters together to see the patterns that come out on the other side after the piece cures. I usually use method 2. But thanks to you, I can save so much time and do it before pouring the resin. Thank you ❤️
My mind is blown that you can paint directly into the mold and it transfers onto the charm. Amazing 💖💖💖🤯🤯🤯🤯👍👍😁❤
Ikr! It's still shocking to me how this works and I've been doing it for about a year now lol

You should get a resin and stain remover for your molds 😊 it will help
Absolutely in love with your molds!!!! Gorgeous works!!!!! I’m at @crystalskyvinyldesigns on fb and insta! Keep up the awesome work. Love the shaker molds!!!!!
I am just getting started with resin. Do you need to coat the acrylics paint with a sealer?
How do you seal the paint for protection so it won't get scratched off with time?
I love your video very helpful... I'd love a change to run but I doubt have instagram 😔... Thanks for sharing
do you have to seal the paint after you're down with the whole piece (paint and resin dried)?
How did you make the resin look matte instead of shiny clear? Was it an additive?
Brand new just trying to figure out what I need.
Where do you get the eye pins used in this video? They are pretty.
You should have painted the tips of the ears on the Pikachu!
I do...I just paint them afterwards because they are harder to paint in the mold.
I have a question when you paint your molds how do you get the lines straight while painting is there a trick?
Your so good 👌😮
Do you seal the acrylic paint with anything?
For the pikachu, you don’t need to do this but you can paint on the ears, they’re meant to be black, but thats ok if you want to not have it painted.
sakuraaa I do paint them. In this video I didn’t show that because I paint them afterwards.
I bought the same paint and for some reason it won't stick to my silicone molds, any tips for a beginner? 😞
How do you get the resin to look matt...I am referring to the Pokémon face.
How do you paint the Pikachu ears?
thank youu
it was so annoying to find anything on how to paint resin that wasn't about that weird layered resin art or furniture
Do you make your own beads the stars and hearts and if so how do you do them they are cute
No I don't lol I wish
How do you get it that colour for the finished look ?
Ok sooooo my paint is gathering when I paint on the silicone mold...how do I get it not to gather!! I'm so frustrated I can't find anything online 😭😭
it's is called a nail polish dotting tool or just a dotting tool not a nail polish dropper tool 😊
How should I paint pieces with raised edges?🥺🥺
I joined the resin community (started with UV Resin) in May and I've got to say I've been loving it ever since
My favorite part about resin is demolding
It's just soo satisfying

Shouldn’t the paint be mixed with resin?

Can you do this with UV resin?
I can'r unsee the black part of Pikachu's mouth as a mustache now omg..
I tried painting my molds today but the paint didn't transfer... did I perhaps not leave the mold to cure long enough?
That’s possible. Some paints take longer to dry on the molds. Sometimes I even l let them dry for 12-24 hours if I’m not in a rush just to be sure.
I'm new to resin, ngl it was hard for me at first because I didn't know a lot about resin, for example how long I have to wait until it dries, or about the stickers, etc. I was very very relief when I found your channel explaining almost everything.
