Hey Kev, hobbywing has a brushless combo which should fit into the Rampage. It´s the Ezrun 2030. It takes up to 3S. Since your rampage has metal driveshafts everywhere it could actually handle it. Hobbywing recommends using the 18T motor if you want to use 3S lipos. I think you should give it a try :D

Man, that thing looks a lot like a Redcat Gen8 without portals, a nice body and some other bits but in Canada it actually costs more by the time you get it to your door... gotta love the import duties effect

I had a Traxxas Rustler as a kid, it was blue and yellow, and a car ran over it and it still worked mint for years, that was in the mid 90s, very good times.

Maybe, if the top of the engine that you're going to poke through bonnet hole you're cutting doesn't get too hot, you could possibly glue or mount the top hat(bug catcher) off a model supercharged V8 to it, kia ora from Gisborne, Aotearoa(New Zealand), love the channel bro

I bought the previous cheap 4x4 and it is awesome, even better with 3S, I have had a blast with it, and a 6000mh battery lasts over a hour !

You should test the redcat racing gen7 sport rock crawler. I have one and it’s very good for the price!
The rear diffs on the rampage keep going out kinda fast... And i cant find metal ones for it... Also, the rgts you can mount the battery try on the plastic peice going over the transmission with the pre drilled holes that are there already

Kevin, you really should look at the Redcat Everest Gen7 . Its about 200 bucks and its RTR out the box with battery. Its probably the best rc Scale crawler you can get for 200 U.S dollars. it comes with hobby wing esc and interco superswamper beadlock tires And a Flysky Transmitter. Please look into getting one. It also has portal axle upgrades and different shock upgrades. And You could also look into the Gen 7 pro that is 249 which comes with a few more things.

Isatnt Moved channel not that I’m a beginner it’s because I’m 16 and still at school. So it would probably take a year/ year and a half for me to save up for it
Isatnt Moved channel my main one which is an ftx vantage brushless cost me £180 and it took 8 months with some extra money put towards it before I could buy it
