My faust theory is that "square one" isn't baldhead, nor is it doctor faust before that, we don't really know anything about faust before the incident, so I believe that he went further back. Also something that I feel is overlooked is that faust is in a nurse's scrubs as apposed to a surgeon's/doctor's suit.

Faust's soul seems to have been drained and he seems to have died, but that seems to be a classic Japanese manga expression.
It is common in Japanese manga to have the soul come out of the mouth or ascend to the heavens when a character gets very tired, etc., and in light of his character, it seems plausible, and
I think this is what Ishiwatari was referring to in his interview when he said that he had an episode of going too far back to the beginning.

It was real nice seeing Bedman again, or at least the bed. Pretty sure he can control the bed robot so it crying at the end kinda pulled at my heartstrings. I hope Delilah comes with the bed if she becomes playable as a puppet character

Sin’s costume here in Another Story is identical to Chipp’s. All the characters here in Strive are so buffed (and thiccer I guess) compared to their old ones. I’m surprised that there are still existing dragons in Guilty Gear.

Just dropping this here for the sake of conversation, what happened to Faust might have something to do with him being the one who invented the resurrection procedure, before the Conclave stole it and used it on Zato. That may be what he's doing with Chronus during the credits as they head back to the opera house where Zato was reborn.

@@President_Shin I'm playing on and off waiting for my character. A lot of people who have played another GG are waiting for their character to come back, it's not unreasonable to think that characters will bring people. We joked about "No Baiken, no buy." but if you look at the recent character stats even past Testament's release Baiken is 3rd most played behind Ky being 2nd, with Testament as 1st (everyone wants to play the new character).
Personally for me, my average playtime in a week will probably more than double maybe even triple the moment Jam or Kum come to the game.

Ok, so with this we can basically confirm 3 of the upcoming DLCs, new character will be Delilah (really liking her), then returning cast Sin and Dizzy, pity we don't get a full view of Dizzy new model, hope they already give us the Gear maker and don't delay him till 3rd round of DLCs.
I feel like we can’t call Dizzy just yet. They might’ve just re-used her Xrd model.
I don't think Delilah can be called yet either- we don't have a single idea on how she even fights, all she did here was throw a temper tantrum and almost destroy the entire world
@@breadbreadington5735 I agree about Dizzy, the model is not really clearly shown and does look kinda like the Xrd one, I give both of ya that one, but Delilah and Sin I would be surprised if they are not included in the next DLC, both models look play ready, and Delilah might use bedmans bed as part of the game play.

The only 100% super sure character at this point is Sin. there was data suggesting sin and another 3 characters in game interaction, and 100 having a new model kinda confirms him. I still think that asuka's chances are way bigger than delialah.

I'm late to the party by 6 months, but, I believe that Faust's soul transcended, where he goes back to "square one", whilst his physical form is left behind as a memento, Yes I know this can be controversial, nobody can have opinions on the internet. Also Faust gets to keep his airforces even through transcendence.
Second thing, Bedman didn't fully die after falling. I would say he's still alive but not in the best of conditions at the moment. He's still able to express his emotions as at 39:49 we see him crying. I swear if that man can survive with his soul in a BEDFRAME and not in a body then he can probably sustain himself there, knowing he probably doesn't need to eat or drink in a machine. You can also argue that: his task has already been complete and so he accepts to die there due to Baiken fulfilling what he couldn't do at the time
I'd say when Baiken realizes that Delilah is a mirror of herself makes me feel like they're BOTH relics of the past. Both of their families were killed, they both were alone and they simply both relate the most. I thought the main story finale was crazy but this just had me heartbroken.
Back to Faust, "square one" is before Dr. Baldhead, It's the doctor he once was before one of his patients was killed and he blamed himself for it, He atoned for going on a rampage in the first Guilty Gear by going before that. Faust didn't laust this time.
You wonder what story Sin's going to go through in season pass 2?

(i.e. Ramlethal perhaps hearing childbirth is "an awful experience" at some point, and her accepting/misunderstanding what Sin is referring to as a natural childbirth)
hopefully they get more than 1.5 people animating the next story mode
I honestly felt that this another story was much better done than the actual story in the white house because it actually felt that each one of the characters here were well used and had a impact in the events unlike the main story were it was all about Sol and the other charcters either were just watching or didn't had any significative impact at all (except fo I-no and Happy Chaos, of course).
Also the animation in the main story could get wonky or laughably bad/stilted at times. The first scene that comes to mind is a particular moment when I-No knocks Ky to the ground during the final battle.
(Please keep in mind, this is just my opinion - I don't know if any others share it)

Here are two dumdum day 1 theories that I have made at the moment:
1.
Some of the future stories may revolve around Faust getting himself back. Him and Chronus (probably) will go look for the soul that flew away.
2.
He's dead. If so, then they did our boy Faust dirty. He's probably just an empty husk now and he's only moving because of his will to help people.
Feel free to add more.

@@SSSqage at the end of the first story he is walking up right. i doubt its that deep. the wiki on his story in strive doesnt make sesne if that was the legit reason. if anything it makes it weaker. this takes place at the same time as the first story. so him at the end with Chronos still happens and he seemingly fine not slump or whatever.
At the end of the main story you see him wandering with another dude and this story is during that so he's not dead?

Don't really understand the ending line quite well. So Ky is giving up the throne and we are just left to not know who this Gear replacement King is? Sin is the only obvious guess.
Also as far as dlc goes, the only hard confirm is Sin with that "not Chipp" outfit. Dizzy is there but it seems to be just the Xrd model with a fancy dress over her. Deliliah only hint is that maybe she just pairs with her brothers bed, but that doesn't technically happen as far the story shows. The only other guess-able candidate left is that Ky got a new outfit on that balcony. Would be funny if Ky not only stole the Dragon Install, but also stole a clone spot a kin to "Order" Sol.
Have a feeling itll either be Sin or Dizzy taking the spot.
