Problem with car drivers is they dont expect us to be fast they think we are slow
Happened to me on my M365 Pro. Sad doing 23mph, she sees me but pulls out and as she just got out, my arm clipped the rear of her car.
Drivers can be crazy.
Yea serious shit i have a apollo zero it can go 25 to 30 mph and people think im slow but until i put my acceleration i blast off immediately
@@TheLondonCyclist i was driving on the side walk with my xiomi pro 2 and some guy started to go over the side walk into his drive way and he stoped when i was like 2 meters away from him i let off the trottle to see if he woud move or start going into his yard and he didnt so i didnt break because i thought he let me pass i was legit in front of him and he whent a bit forward just enought to clip his car and break my scooter the guy was nice and fixed it lmao me and my friend coud bearly keep it together i coudent laugh because it hurt a bit nothing bad just hard impact into the front right corner of the car but when i looked at the scooter it looked like it was dead beeping and service flashing on the screen xd i almost started laughing in front of the guy it was just so funny even tho i gor banged up because i fell but it was still funny my friend almost started laughing when he saw this shit from the back xd the driver said he saw my friend on his bike 5 cars away behind me but not me 1-2 cars away he just didnt look to the left and tried to play it off like it wasnt his fault even tho he was parking into his drive way over the side walk xd
There are definitely some drivers who really dislike electric scooter
Ye I been learning the hard way they even try run us off roads they jealous they spend 10000s a year sk they can show off we spend 1000-2000 we set for life no petrol stations needed unlike them hahahaha

Glad you're ok and no one else was hurt. But it's a terrible idea going 27mph on the sidewalk (your third crash) and attempting to charge through an intersection.
Tip for all new scooter riders....DO NOT take one hand off the scooter, otherwise you are off..!!
didnt happen to me when i started but i was going very slow and made sure not to hit the throttle
If you have the steering damper on the 10x is very stable
I think it's good to learn to ride one handed long enough to signal. I went to a car park and didn't fall. I also learned to quickly change stance depending on which hand I'm raising. (I ride goofy normally) Agreed its not like a bicycle and no hands is an instant wipe out. All to do with the rake of the machine
@@DanceySteveYNWA Bad advice, don't attempt to turn signal on a moving car intersection. Any chance of falling off, or wind hitting you in general will potentially knock you off - better off investing in a scooter with indicators.

Right now I own an egret ten scooter and it goes up to 35kmph, I don't wear much protective gear but I have almost fallen off once. I'm thinking of getting a scooter in this category (zero 10x or mantis Pro), I will definitely be wearing more protection if I'm getting a scooter like this. Thanks again!

I've been thinking about getting one for nearly a year.
First I was looking at 250w scooters, not powerful enough, then a chain driven one with a 1500w motor. It had a max speed of 31mph for £600 but still didn't think I'd really like it, their noisier due to being chain driven. Then came across this beauty, the zero 10X. Perfect in every aspect, looks like a great scooter. Not heard anything negative, just positive. Just gotta be patient and sit and wait now.

Third crash could have been avoided. I always slow down or stop at cross walks even when I have the right of way because cars could be turning and idiot drivers not paying attention

Crashed mine going flat out, smashed my head in, black eye, broken nose, six broken ribs, smashed elbow and knee. No helmet just shorts and t-shirt 🤕 Scooter was OK though, just scratched left brake handle haha.

Question. Does anyone have issue with rear wheel banging against the fender? Even on small road bumps. Looks like the rear fender is sitting to low, very close to the wheel

the one where the car just pulled around the corner probably didn't see you or expected you to follow the path around. its always best to stop at a crossing and look before just riding straight onto the road never assume people in cars are going to give way to you because they probably wont and there not paying attention to some guy on a scooter on the side walk there worrying about other cars on the road just. i feel like in this instance its not the drivers fault slow down look then cross when safe never go full speed to a crossing with no intention to stop you get yourself killed
I like the strap idea, i bring my scooter in when not using it, i dont have a lot of stairs, but about 15, that's enough. I will give the strap a try, thanks!!
What disappoints me is the flimsy rear mud guard.
Annoying rattle everytime I hit a bump or riding on and off sidewalks
the original mud guard is no good at protecting for water splash. also the plastic its made of slowly cracks over time. heres a replacement option :)

I got my Zero 10X a week ago. I hear ya on all you mentioned. I'm Scottish, but live in Norway, the drivers on roads are angels, man!
This thing is a beast. I'm in Norway, so gradients are like San Fran 😂 this things just zooms up (I have the 60v version). It's a monster.
Already I've learned whilst going arouhd bends for example, I lean the scooter and keep centre of gravity but staying upright. More control also.
I've also learned not to grip for dear life on it, but have a slightly relaxed grip. The more rigid you are the less control...
I went over a dipped drain at a decent speed. Both my feet went up and landes the very outer edge. Phew 😂
You need goggles when going fast too haha!

I'd like to know why did the scooter fall after the brake, doesn't sound too reliable brakes then. Is this hydraulic brakes? Maybe this scooter shouldn't ride these speeds if it cannot stop without falling.
Maybe it also has to so with the riser's mass, I wonder if I would fall on this speed with 60kg on my mass.

Exactly the same happened to me, trying to close visor with left hand and accidentally pulled throttle. The 10x just shot off leaving me to jump off and run so not to fall, just a couple of scratches to the scooter.
The scooter is really powerful. happy you did get hurt.

Yup, that's why it's safer to drive using a single motor mode in the city. The problem begins if your 1 engine is not powerful enough to drive comfortably. What speeds can you achieve in single mode? 50kph? Does it take ages to reach that limit?

lol is too powerful mane.. the drive saw me coming and sped up to make the turn , but yeah i should have known they were going to do that and slow down.
@@NoTechGuy in the UK, if you're on the path, doesn't matter if you're walking cycling or whatever, when you get to a crossing like that you have to stop and wait for any traffic that's turning, even if it's behind you the car has priority, is it not the same there? Death wish to just fly straight out into the road.

Im sory to say but u dont know how to drive on sand did u never go over sand on any vehicle with two wheels like when u go with road tires on a bike anything they sink imediatly like ur in snow and just get stuck and u fly over the handlebars simple as that

They so much fun but ye need experience lol only got mine a day well 2 now need to take out for a ride,
learn new stuff with it. Falls are always the worst and it's always my hands ✋ but I have expensive gloves now just did not have them on my last fall.
