- Sufficient nutrient supply is vital for crop health and yield. Mineral fertilizers play a central role to achieve the yield and returns expected by farmers and required by a growing world population.
But where does mineral fertilizer actually come from? Under which conditions is it produced? Is production sustainable?
This animation provides information on European fertilizer production and its impact on environment, employment and many other aspects. - Věda a technologie
I've watched at least 3 of the channel's videos already. Good work!
Very awsome video. Very helpful to understanding the topic.
Interesting video although the vast majority of Yara fertiliser we purchase in Australia comes from China and is bagged there with the Yara brand. Yara does not print the country of origin on most of their products and is confirmed by numerous sources including local Yara representatives here in Australia. I know they are going to build some fertiliser plants in northern Australia in the coming years which is great but please be honest to all about where these products are coming from.
Absolutely amazed by your production process

My oh my....watching this in 2022, Europe never think twice when they imposed sanction on Russia.....considering how dependent they are on Russian gas....
It's stupid the sanctions applied. It only makes Russia richer with higher oil prices. We should have stuck to the Minsk agreements
Natural gas is why Russia is attacking.
The sanctions are very bad. Soon we are all on a diet :( FCK SCHOLZ/macron
Was just thinking this!
Yes, we've all realised this....
This is great.
Please add the closed captioning so this can be used in class for students.
what is mean by natural Fartalizer
Could you add the references in the info box pls
hi, what is the inert material/filler use that mix in npk fertilizer?
If you are talking a consumer bag of fertilizer for example a 10-10-10 it is whatever is listed in the ingredients. A common inert ingredient to add is crushed limestone. Crushed limestone isn't really inert. NPK fertilizers acidify soils over time and crushed limestone neutralizes acidity. Other fillers i've seen are crushed peanut hulls, crush corn cob, biodac (remains from paper plants). Also consider that you will never see a 100-100-100 or even 100-0-0. Straight Urea is 46-0-0. Urea's chemical formula is CO(NH2)2 54% by mass is not nitrogen. Same with pure potash kcl 0-0-63 where 37% by mass is chlorine.
Interesting
How NPK is made?
The "N" nitrogen is in this video. The "P" phosphate, and "K" potassium are types of salts that can not be made and have to be mined.
could green hydrogen be used instead of natural gas ?
Sure.
But its more expensive like 10 times
O2 plus H2 gives H2O.
Nat gas is CH4. You need the more complex compound.

Use excess renewables NOT fossil gas!!
#CarbonTax
How about no.
Besides that Carbon Tax thing already has been proven to be a corporate scam to squelch out small business and make monopolies.
@@DaveSmith-cp5kj
That is incorrect, you are confusing carbon tax with carbon credits.
Learn more, the future of civilization depends on it.
@@fuckfannyfiddlefart Both are equally bad. Don't be manipulated by corporation's games.
renewables? such as what?
If guys like you ran think we would all starve.
The search for utopia may kill us all.
