I watched this movie with my mother in theatre. She was hesitant watching movie in a theatre but after the movie was over she was overjoyed with the story and the overall performance of the entire crew. She talks about it till this day when ever she hears the song performed by Adnan Sami in mosque. That's one of her favorite ones. In the end, love always trumps over everything else.
My heart melted when the innocent girl kissed her own national flag through the TV . I can feel what the little heart must have felt seeing something related to her own nation after staying in a different country for weeks.

When I was in 10th grade(2015) , I went to watch this movie in a cinema/theater with my friends. Damn this was the first movie that made me sob, I thought it was only me but all my friends were really emotional too, initially I thought it was awkward to cry watching a movie, but looking back, it was a so nice that I have no regrets.

Not hindu but upper caste. And it's not the opposite btw. Even in pakistan there are more dark skinned Muslims than fair skinned Muslims. It's just that fair skinned people are.given more prominence that we see them in position of power.

"Mama" generally means uncle, but people also use it for men older than them who are very very close to them as if they are a part of a family, so it was so sweet that she called him that. It means she feels a family like connection towards him
