I love how during the bridge battle Canute orders a Shield wall but as soon as the English reach them, the shieldwall is just forgotten and the vikings just erupt into random engagement.
It's almost like they wanted the king to get cocky and advance so they could cut him off from his forces and capture him with ease

@muffaletta yes but the whole purpose was to bait the king over the bridge so they needed to give the king a sense of victory by purposely breaking the shield wall and retreating so they could destroy the bridge and capture him

I dont know but for me ,,Vikings Valhalla" series is not even close to original ,,Vikings". Season 2 was so boring....
Thanks. I stopped halfway. It was the first time I felt betrayed by the makers in watching vikings or the last kingdom.
Something is not right about what they are doing with the Valhalla serie.

True, but Vikings wasn’t even close to historic facts. Most people didn’t even know of Ragnar before the Viking TV Show, people still think Bjorn was Lagertha son and the oldest of Ragnar son and he wasn’t. A lot of Ragnar accomplishments on the show wasn’t even Ragnar own. Duke Rollo wasn’t a traitor or even around when Ragnar lived. But it was clear that the show runner wanted to elevate Ragnar legend, when in reality Ivar and Bjorn accomplished more. And King Canute the Great accomplished more than All, and we can’t forget about his Father who made this possible.
Season 2 was not it.

He was called Canute in England while he was king and it is pronounced pretty similar
in this case it's just sloppy research as in many other details in this production.
How Knuts name was pronounced in England 1100 years ago ain't of no importance, it's bad research only.
