Thank you for infos, super 👌I use , now more then 10 years , only korean skin care, I am 56y.o and I can be proud of my skin ...I can go out without make-up ⚘️⚘️
I've been watching all of your videos and I'm happy that you cover skincare products made for a variety of skin types. Young adult with oily skin here 🖐🏻 I recently repurchased the standard version of the cream. It's still a biiiit too oily for me, I'll have to look for the other versions
You just confirmed what I thought! I saw some reviews called the standard version a gel for oily skin and I was like "really?", it's very much a classic barrier cream with a (lighter than usual maybe) emollient film.
Incredibly thorough! I was never attracted to the brand but after hearing the origin of its popularity with the soldiers I’m excited to purchase it! The explanations and charts are super useful, thank you!
I am really happy that I stumble upon your videos. Your explanation is very informative, if I had found your video before I wouldn't spend so much money on dermatology doctor with still no result . Now I've been using tretinoin 0.0025% and Hydroquinone but I don't use the Hydroquinone, just tretinoin on a small area on my face for sun spot damages and It's very drying and irritating. I really do love Korean skincare products and I would like if you could do a video on AM and PM skincare routine. I think that's one of the thing I have difficulty on.
Really love your reviews on Dr.G products! But I really hope you will review their new range which is 'Dr.G Red Blemish For Men', especially All in one Fluid and Multi Soothing toner too! Thanks!
The cica soothing cream is amazing at releaving redness and irritation. I once felt itchy on my face and started seeing redness. Instantly after application the redness was gone and the irritation gone the next morning. It’s more expensive than the red blemish cream but worth it imo.
I didn't know they had so many types of creams. I'm really interested in getting either one of the cica ones for when I start using tretinoin since I know I'm'a need all the soothing and calming I can get.
Really enjoyed this video! Would love to hear more about the thicker creams you use as your last step, I feel like a lot of Korean moisturisers are really light but I also have very dry skin!
😂😂😂 it's funny you mention that! I receive a few complaints because the creams I usually recommend are quite heavy (and fragranced! The horror!). If you watch any of my videos on anti-aging skincare (The History of Whoo, Isa Knox, AHC, the one on budget Traditional Korean skincare etc) the creams I mention are always on the heavier side.
Thank you for the video and the chart at the end of the video!!! Didn't know about the balm version, let's see if it can replace my cicaplast balm by La Roche Posay 😏
Thank you for this insightful video , if I ever leave the tropics then I'll definitely try their products but the climate is so hot here that I'd be a grease ball even with a regular emulsion 😂😂
Another great piece of information, I've already planned to try the cica one, and this video just convinced me 😅😂 I'm constantly on the search for an hydrating cream cause I've combination to oily skin and I really need something, but I got always confused because I usually see moisturising claims on creams but not many hydrating claims, so I've messed up a few times, but thanks to your videos now I'm more aware and I often came here for suggestions❤️ thanks
Thank you! When it comes to Korean skincare, I think part of the problem is that the Korean term for "hydration" gets erroneously translated as "moisture" by automatic translators, so brands that don't use professional translators end up with wrong translations. I recently talked about it in a video on the new Etude House sunscreens, they have a sunscreen that is called "Hydrating sunscreen" in Korean but the English name was erroneously translated as : "Moisture sunscreen" 😅
@@OdileMonodTheMonodist lol yes I saw it 🙈 actually I just go search for every product you say is hydrating because I can't go wrong then. You help us to find the best solutions for our skin. Wish you happy holidays and looking forward for the next video 😊
I recently got the dr g red blemish clear soothing cream, i like it but im not a big fan of the sticky film it leaves on my face..was hoping to find a different version of their cream that actually dries down but they all seem to have that gel like consistency, maybe ill apply moisturizer on top? I dunno but thanks for reviewing!
Hi. I recently found you on Instagram. Everysince, I have been watching your videos. If it's a simple enough question, will you please tell me the difference between hydration and moisturize. I thought they were the same.
In the mornkng you could either go for the Cica Soothing Cream or one of the lotions I showed, in the evening you could use the standard version (or the PX version if you find it online) to rebalance skin overnight and relieve any potential inflammation/sensitivity.
They don't have an official store on Amazon unfortunately. There are a few private sellers reselling some of the creams on Amazon, but I normally don't link to those because there's no guarantee the products they sell are authentic and there are many counterfeits of Korean skincare products online.

Thank you for explaining this range! I was always very confused with all the versions when browsing online lol
Lol I don't blame you 😂
I just got the matching sunscreen after being influenced by you! I'm so excited to try it, and probably one day the rest of the Dr.G R.E.D line 😍
😎😎😎 great taste!

This is like another testimony that simple and no frills formula products are more skin friendly 😄. Thanks for the insight Odile, as always.

The PX version is definitely being added to my shopping list 💙👏
I love this cream! I tried it last year when you reccommended Dr G's serum. It's so nice.

@OdileMonodTheMonodist and you did such a fabulous job with your dry skin video reviews. Btava!!!
Amazing video as always! I always wanted to try one of their creams and didn't know where to start but now I have it narrowed down to only two 👍
Thank you! Glad to hear it was helpful 🙏

😂 it's funny you mention LRP because it's not-so-subtly the main inspiration behind the Cica-S Cream

I live in Korea, I have a problem with the texture of the face and tired face, is there any recommended product for me
Which one is best for acne prone skin? Clear cream or clear soothing cream? Thanks
Is the isoparaffin included comedogenic?
Is there an affordable dupe for the cica cream 2x? It's $40+ everywhere
Even on Stylevana ? I saw it for 25euroq
Hi, do you notice the braille word on the package of the cream? Do you know what it is?
Dr.G includes the names of the products in braille on the packaging of all their products to help visually impaired customers 😊
@@OdileMonodTheMonodist do you know the meaning? Cream?
@nganlehoangkim5612 it's the name of the product.
@@OdileMonodTheMonodist Thanks a lot. I much appreciate it ^^
Hi! Can I use Dr. G RED Blemish Clear Cream in the day and night?
I think so, especially those with dry skin.
Hi. I recently found you on Instagram. Everysince, I have been watching your videos. If it's a simple enough question, will you please tell me the difference between hydration and moisturize. I thought they were the same.
hydration equals water, and moisture equals oil.
I might go negative for this:(...I feel ichy and felt hot when I put it
Dear Odile, i have oily sensitive skin . Can i use any of these, living in humid Singapore?

You just type it in and the products come up.
@@almatoledo1608 Hello! please read Odie's answer, and you will know why I asked the question!
@@noreb.s2759 Yes, I understand.
