I'll switch to mini twists when my length is just right. Mini braids of course are usually longer. I like the hang time off my neck and all hair behind my shoulders. I kept single strand knots with mini twists because I like to wear my hair down. Now my end are in small crystal beads(70s disco vibe) not sure when I'll give them up since there's no way I can end up with knots because the ends are secured inside the bead while I wear my hair down daily

Did you start the twists on blow dried hair? How long did you keep them and what did you wash day look like?

This set I did on a 2 week old blow out! I keep them in for about 1-3 months and I wash my hair in my mini twists sometimes, I usually end up taking them down before I wash them because I leave them In for so long without washing!
