The Topping D90iii Sabre is the 3rd version of the D90 DAC line. It has all sorts of technical advancements and measures fantastic but does it sound good? How does it compare to the Fiio K9 Pro, Aune S9C Pro and Mytek Liberty DAC ii?

Topping and other chinese makers were never on my radar, they suit more these young guys who really don't know about real music and real instruments ( jazz and classical).
But one thing really makes me angry,or I wonder how the owners of previous versions of the same product feel when they see a new version out???
What is then a resale value of their existing product???

Your review could have been summed up in one word, transparent. Dac should not change the original sound at all.
Can you compare it with the DX9 from Topping? I’m thinking it will be completely different being AKM . My wife bought me the DX9 on recommendation from my 8 year old nephew 😂. I’m going to to try to build off it and get it a nice streamer and a good all around headphone for up to 1500 dollars . I think it will be nice to have when I’m gone on the ship for 6 to 8 weeks . Again great video . I’m not on social media media but will look to join one to find more of your content .
