    THE ULTIMATE ON-CAMERA FLASH
    The Godox V1 is the next stage of evolution in the Strobepro/Godox flash system. The round head provides a more uniform, natural lighting profile. From its new quick-locking hot shoe bracket to its 120-degree upward head tilt, you'll find thoughtful design in every part of this flash.
    THE STROBEPRO DIFFERENCE
    Godox products ordered from Strobepro come with industry-leading support! Strobepro is the largest distributor of Godox products in Canada. Give yourself peace of mind with Strobepro's helpful staff, 2-year warranty, and Calgary based service centre.
    LITHIUM-ION BATTERY
    The V1 boasts 480 full power shots on one charge, and a maximum recycle time of 1.5 seconds at full power thanks to its high capacity lithium battery. Ditch the AAs and find out what you've been missing!
    QUICK ATTACHING ACCESSORIES
    Your V1 is compatible with our Round Head Accessory Kit. The simple magnetic accessories in this kit will give you unparalleled flexibility.
    X SERIES WIRELESS
    The built-in 2.4ghz radio receiver offers full power control and triggering without the need for an attached receiver. An optional transmitter is all you’ll need to have full off-camera control over all your V1 flash units, along with anything else in Strobepro's current lineup.
    HUGE POWER
    At 76 watt-seconds, this flash contends with the most powerful speedlites on the market.
    TTL
    Full TTL support allows your camera to automatically set the power and zoom of the flash.
    HSS
    High Speed Sync allows you to shoot shutter speeds up to 1/8000s. Perfect for freezing action and giving you full control of the ambient light, even in bright mid-day sun.

    Hi Mike. As always great video. I have been roped into shooting two indoor events. Both candid - elementary school with fast moving kids and 50th HS reunion with slow moving seniors. I normally shoot landscapes with no flash with my R6, but have now purchased the Godox v1 just because of these two events. Should I stay with Program mode and E-TTL? Thanks.

    • @Strobepro
      @Strobepro  Před rokem +1

      Hi Michael,
      Program mode will function in TTL, but there are a lot of moving parts. If you are comfortable, we'd suggest setting a manual exposure with your shutter at or below your sync speed. You can then adjust your aperture as necessary, and TTL will take care of the rest. ISO can be left in auto if you wish! It's just nice to have control of the aperture at the very least so that you can keep groups of people in focus when you need to.

    Have a somewhat dumb question, but don’t think it was covered in the vid. When using Wireless mode, it seems to not work when the camera is set to Auto. Even when I turn wireless on, when I hit the shutter it goes back to regular ETTL. Is this expected behavior, or am I doing something wrong or have a faulty flash?

    • @Strobepro
      @Strobepro  Před 10 měsíci

      We haven't independently confirmed it yet, but the Z8 should be fully compatible with the V1's latest firmware. Strobepro has sold hundreds of V1N flashes, and I haven't heard any specific complaints about the Z8. We hope that no news is good news!
