    Being at this show was one of the happiest memories of the church I have.. so much emotion running through their set the entire time, between the band and the crowd.. when they wouldn't let them encore (they had another event coming up that night) i thought everyone was gonna riot

      Yo! What year was this? I’m from ATL, but wasn’t old enough to go to under the couch until it was moved across campus. Wish shows would happen there again.

    @92soothsayer if i may (not sure if anyone has answered you) Geoff was featued as vocalist on the melodic parts of this song on label release of the record it came out on. I have a strong feeling all those guys knew each other.

      Thursday + This Day Forward (+Every Time I Die +Murder by Death) played this venue together in summer 2003 before War All the Time was released. Amazing show. Geoff has performed his part live before... just not at this show :/

    the started out pretty much melodic/chaotic metalcore, fragments remains their best work, i remember walking into a set of theirs in 1998 at the killtime in philly with diecast and where fear and weapons meet. holy shit the floor opened up front ta back, you could hear the limbs just smacking together with all the kids goin off, arise was the song i believe. when vadeem came over from a life once lost, that when they went kinda emo and a life once lost went all djent groove core.

    @xStaycleanx Well look at it this way. When Kairos and like In Response came out, theyd already changed their sound from the beginnings. They may have started out as a metalcore outfit, but they did not end that way.

      that's the First Unitarian Church in Philadelphia. look at the wall. this place is, in its own right, a hardcore institution. more so than 331 even.

  • @Jaegurmangensun
    @Jaegurmangensun Před 13 lety

    @xStaycleanx Even if it is, these guys werent metalcore. They were a post-hardcore band. Just because theres singing along with shouted vox doesnt make it metalcore dude.

  • @JasonVochal

    @HATExXxYOU Your post really made me think back. Nowadays all kids want to do is hurt others at shows like this. It's a fucking disgrace!
