Talodz I just sit n tweak n try stuff until I’m happy n it seems to flow ok I guess. I have a definite style of doing things at the moment n I guess I’m just riding that wave until I get bored or it doesn’t inspire me, then I guess I’ll try something else. It’s difficult to try and keep things interesting and maintain a sound. Deffo takes work and I don’t always get it right, but the more you do it the more consistently acceptable it becomes

Andy, Seriously man, I just found this the other day and can't stop listening. At least 4 times a day. The melodic shifts, and the way the main track moves, and shifts while you are blazing over top of it, it is EVERYTHING i love in music, and everything I love when I FEEL the music I listen to. It makes me moves, and it inspires me. I have been working in trying to play some of this, as it feels phenomenal. I am not a super shredder like you, but this song makes me want to practice even harder to get there to nail a lot of this. You are amazing bro, and an inspiration!

Andy is truly one with his instrument. I've never seen a musician meld so perfectly with guitar. He was absolutely born for this and he kills it every time. He doesn't even seem bothered by the technicality of what he's playing, it's just natural, and you can tell.
This dude could pull this off on almost any guitar. It's always been about the players.

I just heard this on the Arrival Leftovers album, and just had to come say thank you to Andy James.
This song gave me a huge inspiration for a scene in the novel I'm writing. I had been stuck for a couple of weeks not getting anywhere writing wise, but this song suddenly had the scene unfolding in my head as I listened to it. Whenever I go back to read that scene, I'll forever hear this song in my head.

I’ve been a guitar player for 30+ years and after the 80’s and 90’s melodic metal scene faded from the front lines and most older guitarists fizzle out or loose their magic, I lost interest with new modern day musicians because they don’t inspire me. Then one day I discovered Andy on u-tube. I was blown away and I am newly inspired and fascinated by his melodic passages and phrasing. He’s become my new ax-man favorite. I even bought his Dunlop Flow picks and I love them! I’m so thankful for u-tube and all those you post these videos!!

I think I've watched this 500+ times since this video came out. That solo is just wicked. This and the Petrucci demo... I think are my two favorite solos of all time.

I agree with you. I just realized why I am such a fan as well. My favorite guitarist (back in the 70's-80's) with UFO and the Scorpion's, Michael Schenker, never missed a note. Fast or slow each note was played as if it was just as important as any other. So does Andy James.

I wish I was as good as andy. The style, the perfectly timed slides and well placed bends really define his heavy but passionate style of playing. Then the major to minor scale changes with heavier distortion really stopped this banger off! Andy, by any chance you ever see this or read it, you are an inspiration inspiration ok me and I'm glad I found out about you a couple of years ago.
