Its very sad that people out there don't really see how rich our culture is in Africa, imagine the hard work these guys put in place to achieve this....God bless Yoruba land....oodu'a a gbe wa o.
I enjoyed this...keep it up. Many people may not know this but I have to let you know that it is very hard to play drum and sing along without missing the bits. Good job guys
It really is the same all over West Africa, the use of drum. I'm curious do Yoruba also use Flute? This is great. Greetings from a fellow West African.
almost any music we listen today is strongly influenced by african drummers. I love this kind of videos because they represent the "roots" of modern music. Jazz, hiphop, pop, techno: all made with rythmically shifted forms typical of black music. Thanks for your footage!
The lead drummer is in a world of his own with such extraordinary fun and dance. Kudos to these cultural custodians and ambassadors!

West africans are the best drummers. They can make a cardboard box sound like a drumkit.
Great voices of Afrika! ;-) :D
Hey edElud, why didn't you 'spray' these drummers with cash? lol
