I am finally getting my honey in gear and planning all of the things that I have gathered for the coming 2022 - 2023 homeschool year. I am taking you along as I do my actual planning for our upcoming homeschool year. This is my first step in laying out our full-year schedule. First I start with how many lessons and the yearly calendar to figure out when we start, how long we go, and when we need breaks. It is all basically a Tetris game of math problems constantly dividing the whole to see where you can best fit everything. Next up will be using our @timberdoodleco scheduler to schedule out the week for each girl. After that, I lay out our weekly flow. Don't forget I do have and will share pdf downloads of our flow and daily schedule.

This was really helpful! And it’s so nice being in the Southern Hemisphere, so I get to watch this with half a year to think about it! Haha! Also, you don’t know how amazing it is that your two are going into the same grades that my two will be going into. So I can just watch you for some tips and tricks! Or just ship my kids to your house…hmm…that’s an idea! LOL!!

I need all advice I can get! I have not planned before. I mostly just planned the day before. That didn't work for us.
I like to start with the year and calendar then slowly math it down to our daily flow.
Basically just available weeks and number of lessons divided.
That is one hardcore serger in the background. What do you make with it?
It's a 4 needle embroidery machine and the answer is not enough😅😅😅
