Sailing characteristics sound somewhat similar to our Farr 7500, although we lose self-righting moment when the keel is fully raised, and we only have one rudder. We trim our boat for the conditions by swinging our keel aft as needed, which is extremely useful. In shallow water, if we run aground accidentally the keel swings up without damaging the boat.
