LOL. Years ago when this first came on TV, It totally caught me off guard. I nearly jumped out of my skin with that boat blew up. Pretty sure my heart skipped a couple of beats. I did NOT see that coming like you did. Total flipping of the switch of the mood of the song and video. I loved it.

I think this was shot during or right after Reba was in the movie North which Rob Reiner directed (and he plays the director at the end of this video). You should also watch Reba and Dolly Parton sing this song. There are nice nods to this original music video in that one.

LOL. Isn't she great?! I love Reba. Personally, as a singer, as an actress ... she's just a wonderful human! I laughed so hard at the Homer Simpson reference, but you're right! And you took such great delight at the ending - it's nice to see someone who sees it for the story it is and doesn't get all worked up about it. Everyone walked away at the end of the day of filming. Still satisfying, gotta say ... I may be a person that has one of those snarky little smiles on occasion, too, though. đ
