What a beautiful car. I had a 73 Mach 1 that looked like this but it was yellow and black. An incredible car and you represented it well with a gorgeous build.

Excellent build. This is the most realistic looking 1971 Mustang kit I've seen. Stance is right.
One of my college buddies had a 1:1 just like this red car back in those days (although maybe his interior was all-black, and I like your red/black combo more).
Thanks Ray, I was going to do just black on the inside, always seems like the easy way out though. I Googled many picks most were black and there were a few in red, most did not look the best, so I altered the seat combo some to change it up. I have built the MPC, AMT kits, this one is not even in the same category, great model..

It's a beautiful mustang you did an absolutely awesome job the red paint job is really nice I can see myself anyway I like the way you put it together and everything came together really nice I'm going to have to get one

Mustang turned out really nice Kreg! Nailed it! The mirror is right, maybe a little long in the arm but it should be at the 2/3 line because of the back glass.

Thanks Scooter, I had build some of the AMT and MPC kits same thing, this kit was nothing like it, next one I thought about adding some details vs just box stock..
Damn that is so good looking and when I get my jaw off the desk I will say that is a awesome looking Mustang! You should have done the outside pics in the prospective style and everyone would think that is a 1:1 real car! 😎

Thanks Bruce, this is probably my top build so far, I wanted to take some better pic outdoors, it seems like its been raining everyday, so this was a last minuet, then I thought would have looked good in a gloomy over cast sitting some water with the reflection of the car in the puddle..

Absolutely beautiful job ! I’m ordering this one too . I have the AMT kit but this looks much nicer. Going to build a replica of a friends car . His is Turquoise with silver stripes . He is running drag radials all the way around on his real car . Plus he has an 8 one barrel fuel injection system . Thanks for all the videos . Great job
Thanks, you will love this kit, nice fit and finish on most of it, the Turquoise will look sweet on this, I had almost went a different color. A guy in town back in the day had a red and black 71 Mach and I always loved that color combo, he had the Magnum 500s on it with some sweet looking wide tires on it, looked mean.. Thanks.. Ah the MPC stang, that will put your modeling skills to the test. I built three of those, two just recent, less then a year. With some work they look pretty good.. Have a good one.. Pick up this kit you will love it!

I don't mean to nitpick but the intake manifold on all Bosses, 302-351-429, were aluminum... you might have had enough paint for the air cleaner.
Thanks, You know I was looking at that once I had painted it and thought, should have been aluminum, Thanks for reminding me I will probably go back and change it.. Some things just need to be corrected to look right... Have a good one Allan!
