👍FYI, I bought a plaid decal sheet from Scale Motor Sports. They’re earmarked for Revell 65 Mustang fastback. For trunk liner when I get around to opening the trunk. It’s good enough for me to replicate OEM liner. Also have their saw blades. They work fine and the price is reasonable. If you don’t wash your cup, it deters co-workers from using it.😳🫵

When I was working for Ford, our office would occasionally go out for a team-building lunch. Buddy's was one of our favorite places to go. You brought back a few memories of my co-workers. I've got the LTL 9000, one of if not the most expensive kits I have. But like you, I had to have it! When you saw me in Taylor, the day prior to that was the day I got it --- with some other big trucks ---- but all I had in the SUV with me was the Warlock pickup!! He he .... did you find one yet? I'm holding out for a roll-up door beer delivery model of the Louisville Line Ford. AMT, if you're watching you could do all kinds of beer and soft-drink delivery trucks based on the LL!!

Nice mail call. Great stuff. I recently ordered those two items from Scale Motorsports. I also bought them several years ago. The saw blades are great. The ramp truck is a rerelease. I got one when I was growing up, it was a Petty Enterprise livery, with the Dodge Dart sportsman car. They also released a version in the Budweiser livery with a funny car. Be fore warned, those AMT big trucks can be a nightmare. The part numbers too small to read, or not even there. Thanks for sharing.

Oh man that turned out great! Been trying to get a few EXP/LN7 kits for myself but they're real hard to find and surprisingly expensive..... Yeah you nailed it on the TRX wheels, 365mm so halfway between 14" & 15". They stopped making the proprietary tires back in the early 90s so the rims are paperweights today unless you can weld on larger diameter (15") bands to make them a standard size since there's not enough meat on the wheels to mill them down to the next size (14") 😕 The rear cargo area does have thin pleats length-wise, allows for easy cargo insertion & retrieval as everything slides on those vinyl stripes. Do you have contact info for Clyde? I'd love to chat with him, EXPs became my obsession when I started driving due to my parents having a couple and them giving me one in exchange for a lot of labor. It became my first car and I still have it, as well as 10 other EXPs and 4 Escort brethren lol Over the years I've climbed the ranks as leading EXP/LN7 guru, but with it being such a rare car that Ford doesn't want to reminisce over I struggle to find anyone who was there during the development or anything more than obscure caption-less photos of how each model cane to be. I'm always trying to get in touch with people who had a hand in getting these cars out to the world - I may even be sitting on one of the first pre-production prototypes, it's a very rare convertible model Ford had backed in hopes of reviving convertibles too! i have the mustang II I built as a kid in the 70's. It had the side fender flares (widebody i guess) and "turbine" style wheels. I want to say it was the king cobra kit but all the pictures i see of it online don't have those wheels. I think it was mpc. now I wonder which kit it was. anyhow looking forward to see yours completed.

Cool entry for the group build. I actually like the Mustang 2. My dad had a 77 Mustang 2 as his first car. It had the V6 and a 4 speed manual transmission. I would like to find one of these kits and replicate his first car. My aunt has a Mach 1 Mustang 2 with the 302 👍😎

I have never seen that kit before. You definitely have some work to do. It has to be one of the worst body styles ever and a horrible design for a Mustang. I'm sure you will make it awesome though. Can't wait to see the finished build!
