Is this one compatible with Velocirax? I don't want to end up like hardtail party did having the Rigd rack break and my bikes drag down the highway.

Thanks for the question! Yes, the RambleSwing is compatible with a Velocirax. Hardtailparty Steve just started running a RambleSwing and will be giving his review in the near future. In regards to the issue he had, he had cut the upper weldment of the UltraSwing off and did his own welding of the vertical rack into the receiver. He'll be the first to tell you he did not use the UltraSwing as it was intended to be used and takes full responsibility for what happened.

@@rigdsupply6945 Awesome! Can I get the Ultra Swing and run that with a Velocirax? (obviously not with any modifications like what he did). I like the idea of having that table off the back of the rig for around the same price. Thanks!

@@rigdsupply6945 Steve at HP was using a Velocirax 6bike which could be approximately 180lbs with 6 bikes (30lbs each). Looks like spec on your RambleSwing is 100lbs of bikes fully loaded.
Is the RambleSwing safe to run the Velocirax 6bike setup or more? Keeping overall weight under 300lbs?

@@scottgerrits2219 Vertical racks apply a very different and more extreme type of dynamic load to a swing out. This is why we rate vertical rack capacity to 100 lbs of bike (in addition to the Velocirax). With a horizontal style bike rack you can carry substantially more weight due to the decrease in leverage applied.

Ever used it for a dirtbike 250lbs ?

We've tested it with a dirtbike over 250 lbs with a person that weighs 250 lbs sitting on it (you can find that video on our Instagram). But we don't endorse using it for dirtbikes since the moto carrier being used will be close to 100 lbs + a 250 lb dirtbike exceeds our rating.

Ultimate Mx hauler is 55 lbs and a dirt bike is 250 lbs. So it's just at the limit. Should be able to handle a MX bike.

Per 12" of extension away from your vehicle's hitch you're technically supposed to reduce your tongue weight by 50%. At this distance away from your hitch your vehicle's hitch may not even be rated for that. Our on-the-record response is that the RambleSwing isn't rated for motos due to being at or exceeding our max load rating while extending the leverage further out than a bike rack@@Tacoexplorer

@@rigdsupply6945 that's for the reply. I've seen people use their 1UP swing out for a dirt bike that weighs well over 300lbs they had no issues.

@@Tacoexplorer And if you asked 1UP, they'd give you the same response as us on the record. But here's proof why ours is the strongest: instagram.com/reel/Cu7t9w0uX66/?igsh=MzRlODBiNWFlZA==
