  • It's a sunny May Saturday and i'm out in North West Wales. On this upload we see Transport for Wales ex British Rail Class 158 Sprinter DMU's in action along the Cambrian Coast Line at Pwllheli, Harlech, Barmouth & Portmadog, including a nice shot of one crossing the Mawddach Estuary on the refurbished Barmouth Bridge. These now veteran BR units are due for replacement by the new class 197's, probably in early 2025. If you liked the video please subscribe to my channel, there are lots more transport & quirky vids to upload!

One of the "benefits" of privatisation..... "bad, old BR" somehow managed to keep the p/way tidy on their limited funds, so why can't the modern railway, with its 4 times the money BR had, not do it?.....
