    This was a really good video. I wish Canada evaluates their system and open more seats for IMGs so the system can expand. Its really unfortunate as in the USA they seem better in adapting and seat wise too for medical graduates. Thanks for sharing your information, it will help a lot of people out there.

      Thank you for watching Sunethra. Yea I agree. Canada is a very competitive environment. The other option is to train in the US and then come over to Canada which is an option many people choose to pursue.

    Approximately can you let us know long will it take for the entire process, starting from MCCQE1 to becoming a resident considering the fact that we clear everything in one go?

      you could technically get all of it done in 1.5 years. But keep in mind matching from a country outside UK/Ireland/Australia is much much harder

    How would you rate MCCQE in-comparison with MRCP, I am currently preparing for MRCP Part 2 Exam , would that be enough to cover MCCQE somehow.
    And which one is more difficult , MRCP or MCCQE.

    This is the most terrifying thing I've ever looked at. Past that exam is the matching process which is highly dependent on your results as an IMG. I find USMLE has more guidance when it comes to study. WIth the MCCQE, its basically "lol Good luck." USMLE has videos, books, question banks. MCCQE seems to have almost nothing except the trust that you went to medical school lol. I say this because he mentioned using u world which is mostly for USMLE.

    I have completed my Radiology in India. I am going to apply for fellowship in year 2022. My question is after completion of Canadian fellowship, IMG need to write board exam. Is MCCQE1, MCCQE2, NAC/OSCE required to write, to work as long term radiologist in Canada. If not what Board exams are required to work in Canada. I am not planning to do Residency in Canada.

    Hi Siva. Thanks for this nice and informative video. I have 2 questions, the first one: I have graduated more than 10 years ago from Egypt and I didn't practise medicine since 2011, but I got a master degree in Immunology from Canada in 2018. Do I still have a chance to continue medicine in Canada?
    The 2nd question: Is it too hard for immigrants to get to family medicine?

    Hi Dr. Would you recommend MTB 2CK? Also, I have heard that MTB 3 is recomiended too. Which of the 2 for you would be a better prepration resource? O you wouldnt recommend any of them?. Thanks.

      For the MCCQE1, I would recommend using Canada QBANK, UWORLD questions banks available on the internet (have to purchase an online membership) and then use your medical school notes. Also Toronto Notes would be good to study the community health section and ethics.

      Hi Irha. Thanks for watching. I found the exam to be at a very similar level of difficulty to the exam bank questions on Canada qbank.
      I felt my score on the actual exam ended up being higher than I expected when compared to the practice exams.

      @@kureshiasif1753 USMLEs are taken if you want to become a physician in the US. You don't need to undergo their process in order to apply for the canadian test.

      Yes, as a supplement to Toronto Notes, I would also recommend First Aid Step 2 CK. Its a very good resource. Also make sure to use Canada QBANK or UWorld

      It is usually listed on your report that MCC sends out. I don't know if that has changed recently. I did my MCCQE1 almost 7+ years ago
