Bought this rifle in April year this, probably put a couple of thousand rounds through it since, no ammo shortage in France. Apart from making a slight adjustment to both magazines supplied it's been faultless. Use it in the garden as a plinking gun, knocks down pop cans at 70/80 yards no problem with iron sights.
@@willsrodsguns3266 I would say that's a fair price. I bought mine with two magazines for 219€ April 2020 though have seen them on sale sub 200 on Naturbuy sometimes. Still plinking with mine it runs faultless and has maintained its accuracy.
Just bought one of these for plinking and playing around. Already have the RS22, which is the semiautomatic version of this little rifle. Like both of these so much that I'm putting an order in for the HMR17 version, and if they have a WMR one I'm getting it too, lol.
Great video and unboxing review!! You bring up some good points! I bought my wife and kids a Ruger 10-22 with a scope, and they love it. I thinking about getting a Rossi for me!! 🇺🇸💪
The Rossi rs 22 uses the same magazine's as a Mossberg 702 plinkster & the 802 plinkster & others! My point is, it can utilize the same 25 round mag as the 702 plinkster & the foldable stock however, with a bolt action, I doubt that would be usefull. My Rossi rs 22 has the same stock! I wish I would have paid attention & got a threaded barrel!!!!! The only difference I see in that mag is the green color of the follower! My original 10 rounder has a red follower!
I got this rossi, the ruger wrangler and heritage rough rider, all for a little over 400 bucks at an academy in Texas really fun guns to shoot! No more wasting 9mm ammo into paper targets.
Tengo uno modelo 8122 no me saca la capsula y cuesta entrar en recamara quisiera ver imagen del cerrojo parece q esta torcida la uñaq saca capsula gcias es nuevo el rifle
I have the RS22, RB22 and RS22Magnum. All great guns at the price range. Lightweight to carry all day if needed. All the 22 gun you need for everything 75 yards and under except for competition shooting.
I Have the Rossi Pump, lever action and the RS22 in 22LR. Great little budget rifles. I was going to pick up one of these but covid happened and I couldn’t find them anymore in my area. I’ll find one soon enough I’m sure. Anyway cool review.
Great review. I just added a Rossi Rio Bravo lever action in black synthetic to my collection. I hope to never become a gun snob. I saw many extremely critical reviews of the brand before my purchase. They were all wrong. Solid build for the money. Mine came oiled to the max, maybe even a little excessive, but I like it. The fiber sights are really all I would need for this gun. I bought it to shoot CCI quiet. For the money how can you go wrong? Have a great day everyone.
Ditto for me…I love my Rossi Rio Bravo…great value for the low price. I also have the semi-auto, which for the past year (knock on wood) hasn’t malfunctioned a single time. Take a look over on my channel to see how i outfitted the Rio Bravo.
Since the Tech Sights for the Mossberg 702 fit the Rossi RS22, is it safe to say they would also fit the RB22? In other words, do the front and rear sights on this rifle look the same as those on the RS22 semi-auto? Thanks!
Finally found one of the Rossi RB22 in my area. My local FFL could not even get me one, on backorder no eta in site he said. Just so happened at a Academy Sports 30 miles away from me they had one left in stock. Yep it was display model. It had a couple small tiny scratches on front of barrel, but I said it's already broke in then. They had Rossi box, but that's about it. Even the factory magazine was missing, so they robbed one off a RS22, it has red colored follower. Got it cleaned up and ready to put a few rounds through it soon. Just curious anyone know if Rossi has a link for serial number lookup?
Update on my Rossi RB22, love the rifle, seems to be pretty darn accurate with just the fiber optic sights for me. I've put around 450 rounds of mixed brand .22lr ammo through it so far. I have developed a little problem with it wanting to eject spent cases. It will eject unfired rounds all day long one after another no problem, but spent case that's all ready fired it sticks in the chamber. I believe the chamber is just a bit tight on it's tolerance. For those that are not aware Rossi through their website offers the European Beechwood wooden stock for the RB22. I ordered one for mine and I couldn't believe how it changed the looks of the rifle. I'm partial to the wooden stock .22 rifles anyway.
super informative vid - thank you! What scopes/laser dots do you recommend? Or mags? I'm currently looking at the simmons 3-9x50 scope and Mossberg 702 mag, but I'm on a budget so wondering what you recommend for beginners
Glad you enjoyed the video! I appreciate the comments! Don’t have much to recommend. With it being just over $100 to purchase i don’t think it’s worth it to invest in overpriced scopes or extra magazines. I recommend putting any used air rifle scope off eBay or craigslist you can find for less than $25 dollars. I had an old air rifle scope (CenterPoint 4x32) with the proper 3/8 dovetail mounts that I managed to install on this RB22. I really like it. Simple and easy shooting. Not to mention it’s lightweight and easy to maneuver due to the short barrel set up. Happy Plinking!! 🎉
@VQ industries Possibly eBay. Mossberg 702 magazine should fit, but I would recommend doing a little more research. Academy Sports & Outdoors might have them in stock.
@@LongshoresOutdoors Thanks a lot for the info. Planning to get one next month, prepping the necessary stuff before hand. Appreciate your help. And also, I loved bolt action rifles. I believe there is a semi-auto version of this too.
Shouldn’t hurt the firing assembly to dry fire a rimfire rifle. However, I would not make it a regular habit of it. Dry firing is generally regarded as “no no”. Best to avoid all together if possible.
The new Rossi guns at any price is a bad deal. This particular rifle, the clippers too long and would be in the way for most people. The old Rossi 62 pump was a great .22, And they are sought after and highly collectible but the new Ross see remake is absolute junk, which is why you can get them and they are available. Marketing and cost savings has ruined this company.

eyy a fellow person in France, Im looking at the 8122 for 269 with a silencer and a sight, any thoughts on the price?

I agree. I think it might be my favorite 22LR out of the several I own. 👍 Thank you for commenting! I greatly appreciate it!

That’s awesome.

Just bought today...won't shoot continuously
What do you think problem is
It’s junk, like everything the newly marketed Rossi company makes currently.
It’s no ruger or smith&wesson, but it functions.
It might not hold up like other quality brands.
You get what you pay for.
