1.remove/install Ram
2.remove/install Grafics card

5.If monitor can Display now, shake Pc Case a little and if it Turns off right after u shake it, its the Mobo.
5.Sweat a lot, like a lot 😂😂😂
HONESTLY. I’ve been searching videos for this problem for like 2 weeks now after building my pc, still haven’t found a solution smfh :(
"if it's not the one of the problems mentioned, then it could be any other piece of hardware and you'll have to figure it out for yourself"
... Cool, dude, thanks
Yeah pc troubleshooting life sucks
Welcome to the lofe of tech repairmen
🤦🏽♀️
OMG, YES. I just build a pc and I don't have a pc monitor yet, so I tried displaying it on my smart TV. Nothing, the computer comes on but it doesn't seem to display or connect to my smart tv
@@Daisy30y03 lol same here, my friend helped build my new pc and I’m using his old parts which worked fine before and now when I use them monitor dosent display
fun fact you’re probably watching this on your phone
lol
Yep 😂
Yessir
Yea
You sir are an arshole 😂, One that I respect.
life saver, this guy went over every possible scenario and now my monitor is hooked up properly. thanks man.
What was the problem with your monitor?
@@lunator100hd display port was plugged into the motherboard not the graphics card

Yes
Not me :(
Perfect basic troubleshooting video. My friend shipped me a PC cross-country and it wouldn't start. I was very focused on the video card, but as this video points out, if the mouse/keyboard isn't being powered it may be a RAM issue. Turns out one of the sticks of RAM needed a very firm reseat. Did that and everything worked. Thanks very much!
How did you seat the RAM? I changed my cooling fan then this happened😔 my monitor, keyboard and mouse won’t respond
@@randyf1059 Remove it and plug it back in. There's only one way to seat it 😕
used duster from can to clean computer wouldn't restart. reseated ram back to working MB big thanks, saved me from buying a new computer
Thanks man really helped me out
OHH MY GOD THANK YOUUUUUUUU I accidentally kicked my father's computer and it didn't start thank you so much!!!
Im a veteran in PC building and even i needed to watch thank you so much, video was very helpful and refreshed my memory.
Literally used my monitor a couple hours ago and I hop on again and boom nothing fucking works. I hate technology
Same. Worked just fine yesterday..now it doesn’t work. :(
My too
So annoying
Yeah me too man

Just realized my display cable wasn’t even plugged in
What’s a display able again is it the hdmi

Dude just saved my life, I was plugging my monitor into the motherboard and not the graphics card! Your the shit
And u saved my life as i was about to disregard this vid but saw your comment!
Omg you saved my life , I was doing this too! Thanks!!!
Hayss same here
Same
Dude U saved my life and i changed my connection
Saved my day. Instead of a bunch of useless input straight up direction in minutes. Thank you a million
I know this is a 2 year old video, I didn’t even realize that the keyboard and mouse not activating was a symptom that was affecting my PC. I did your ram stick method and it worked! You saved me a couple of hundred dollars. Cheers.
I was losing hope and I figured this was another video where it works for everyone else and it my specific problem. But, to my pleasant surprise you delivered and gave enough solid solutions that one of them worked! Thank you so much, liked the video of course.
I gotta give you huge thanks, as someone who enjoys having fancy tech but isn't the most savvy, I never would have figured out the motherboard vs graphics card port issue. Thank you so much!
Bro me too saved my butt!
thats what got me too, feeling awful silly because I tried almost everything else
You absolute mad lad 🤝 I spent literally hours trying to figure out why my computer wasn't sending an HDMI signal after rearranging my room and this whole time I was plugged into the motherboard instead of the graphics card 😂 Thank you for this video
You saved me a lot of time!! 😂
Thanks.. I was going on an hour before I read your comment. Appreciate it.
You saved me.
Excuse my language but EuFuckingreka 😤😤😤😤
I salute you fuck my pc for having THREE different places to plug in hdmi, sometimes I miss the simplicity of console
Thanks! Simple and straight to the point! 😃
You're a life saver. I was about to lose my mind till I found your video. Resetting the ram did the trick.
You’re the man , I got a bit worried but my display cable was connected to my motherboard and not my graphics card
yes same
Jesus. Was freaking out about this for 3 days. Only for it to be my ram being not fully pushed in. Thank god. Don’t have any stores or repair centers around to try and fix stuff. So such a simple fix saved me from some major costs.
I love you. 2 year old video and still helped out so much. I had no idea what to do to fix it. Thanks.
Thank you so much for the video! I didn't realize I had the DisplayPort and HDMI on my graphics card because they were covered by stoppers. You helped me fix this simple but frustrating problem I had been struggling with for hours :)
bruh
I did this but it makes the graphics huge and blurry.
What are stoppers?
Do monitors with vga cable have Hdmi and display port too ?
Dude i cant thank you enough, everywhere on the internet ive only found stuff about resetting bios, removing cmos batteries, cleaning ramsticks, and whatnot, and all this time i didnt even know that the graphics driver had its own Hdmi port, until now because of you, thank you and i wish you all the luck in the world
You are a life saver! Thank you so much!
Good old Rob, helping with my tech issues from 3 years in the past.
Honestly man you saved me sooo much I really appreciate it! Everyone this guy deserves a like and a subscription because that’s what I’m gonna give him
Tysm. My uncle gifted me his old pc and I was so scared that I'd broken it but I just had the HDMI cable plugged in to the motherboard and not the graphics card. This video was very helpful and I'm so glad you got straight to the tips and didn't ramble on for 2 min
Buddy, thank you so much!! I made the same mistake 😂. I was so frustrated. When I read your command, I switched it up and it worked.
I have the same problem but there is only one hdmi port on my pc and it won’t connect what should I do
@slayerh20 the only thing you can do is replace the gpu
Turns out I was accidentally plugging in the video input into the motherboard, instead of the graphics card. Amazing. Thank you, Rob.
This was great! Best collab you could've done! Well done to the Fieldhouse's for the win, but I think a rematch might be called for, don't you?
1:52 this is just so I remember where I am

@@ididntaskverified3663 thank you :)
Thank you for sharing this!!! I had no idea what was wrong with my brand new monitor until I watched this!!! Thank you
Me too! I found out my monitor now has a bad input.
I was about to go buy a new cable then I saw this! This covers everything I need to know! Thank you so much!
Thanks man, guide was super helpful and it actually helped me fix my monitor.
You're a legend. I had an inkling to toy with removing a memory stick, but needed your video for the nudge. And yep, monitor detecting card again. Thanks heaps ☺️
Well, my mouse and keyboard work, I can launch Steam without a display, so I know the PC works.
No word of a lie this. I unplugged my old monitor and plugged in a new gaming monitor. No signal. I unplugged it and plugged in the old one. No signal. I started to wonder what was going on, I don't like it when my tech doesn't work. I tried all the usual things, plugging unplugging, then I used my device to try to find a solution. I found you on youtube on my device. Then I realised something. I had unplugged the hdmi, and plugged it back into my motherboard, rather than the graphics card. Your vid saved me. True story.
Oh my goodness no other troubleshooting thread mentioned that motherboard/graphics card thing!! You saved me, thanks so much
Thank you so much! I did not know the monitor cable had to be plugged in to the graphics port to display instead of motherboard, lesson learned.
It was in the motherboard -_-... Now I feel like an idiot. Thank you for the tip! You saved me a lot of frustration XD.
Thanks a lot Man, helped me a lot. Also nice hat, we match lol😂
Thank you for this. I thought my hdmi port went bad and was getting aggravated since I ruled out the cable and monitor being the problem with known good items. The problem was in fact operator error on my part as I plugged the cord into the wrong hdmi port on the computer itself. I was plugging into the motherboard one like you showed with the arrow instead of the graphics card one.
Thanks for your comment, didn't realize I was doing the same.
The very first suggestion fixed my problem. WoW and Thanks! I had spent hours trying to resolve this issue.
I literally had my display port plugged into the motherboard and not the graphics card, saved me a headache thanks 🙏
Great video! It's awesome how you explained this step by step 'if this doesn't fix it, try this next', my issue was actually the RAM put in backwards 😅
I removed my Ram stick and reseated it back into it's slot and like magic my monitor is working properly again...we have been without this PC until I found your video ...you are a life saver 👍

my gawd thank you mate, couldnt have solve the cable problem this fast if it wasnt for ur vid
Thank you so much! I thought I had a faulty graphics card, i took the rams out and put them back in, all works now
So that fixed ur graphics card?
Thank you!! Reinstalled my RAM and it worked. You've saved the day 👍
i am SO glad i found your vid. turns out it was ram installed incorrectly. you literally just saved my life. thank SO much.
The first method worked. thank you so much I can't even explain how happy I am right now.
THANKS SO MUCH I'VE BEEN TRYING FOR WEEKS
How did u fix it!
@DjPeely these kinda comments are annoying because PEOPLE COMPLAIN AND BE TOXIC LOSERS FOR NO REASON
Gosh
I've been trying to contact NZXT tech support for over four hours. I found your video and, with your help, it took me five minutes to fix. You are a god. Thanks.
Thank you very much this helped a lot! My problem was my display port was not plugged into my graphics card. I really appreciate the video!
You are brilliant! I accidentally changed a setting on one of my external monitors (which happens to be a small Insignia brand TV). Within 20 seconds, you said what I needed to know to fix the issue. Thank you so much! 👍
Thank you, this easy guide helped me with my new screen and computer! Did not realize there were two different places to put the HDMI :)
Thanks a lot! This helped me out, i was putting the hdmi in the motherboard instead of the graphics card lol..smh.. thanks
Great help I was getting frustrated was working fine the night before turned on pc the next day and nothing working worked with the hdmi ports but not the dp so glad I came across this clip many thanks
Thank you so much ☺️ The making sure it wasn’t plugged into the motherboard really helped me 🎉
Fr I was like "THERES MORE HOLES?!"
Absolutely wild. This happened to me right after a windows update so I was sure it had to do with that. Had no other ideas so figured it was worth a try to reseat the RAM, and lord if the monitors didn't just fire right up LOL. Thanks so much!
I thought it was my RAM. Turns out your tip #1 saved me. The reason it wasn’t turning on is because my HDMI1 on my monitor display was on the wrong channel. Thank you so much. I was going to take this into the repair shop lol.
This was amazingly helpful I never would have thought the issue was my ram lol
Thank you so much for this video! After having my pc for 1,5 years now it wouldn't start today after a blue screen of death popped up first.
The inside was absolutely full of dust so i cleaned it out first and then came across this video.
I did the ram replacement and the battery simultaneously and after that it worked!
Thanks again mate
Thank you so much I was panicking 💀
Hey man, I almost called the company I bought the monitor from to tell them about the issue. I didn't know there were more HDMI openings on my computer case. I kept plugging it inside the motherboard instead of the one on the computer case. THANK YOU SO MUCH
Finally a tutorial on CZcams that worked for me thank you so much
Thank you so much for this, was freaking out till I realised I just had the HDMI in the wrong port😂

Where does the hdmi go into?
Thats painfull xd
@@LA_- the graphics card display input
You literally just saved me so much trouble bought a 2k gaming setup pc. I was pluggimg the 4k ultra hd hdmi cable into the motherboard and not the graphics port. I appreciate your help liked the video
Somebody else was talking about taking my computer apart and cleaning some part of the inside of the computer. New to this MSI gaming computer, and didn’t think to look for another HDMI input. Thanks so much!
Ran into this video and its saved me lol. My Ram was causing the issue. Just followed the instructions and it fixed the problem. Thanks!
Thanks! This was very informative. I had forgotten to plug my HDMI cable into my graphics card...NOT motherboard. Made my day...I was in a funk.
Bruh, I was in tears because I thought my PC had died and this worked. Thank you!
what did you do
I hope this works or I can't make videos
This video saved me from bringing my PC to a technician!
Whew! Just secured the monitor cable to the CPU and voila! It worked! Good thing that’s the only issue.
Thank you so much! 😍

My god same I was having a right melt down !
You're a legend mate. Moved things around and didn't realize when I reconnected my cable was hooked up to the motherboard and not video card.
Thanks Bud, really appreciate this. Had me worried a second.
Damn bro I actually wasted like 5 hours! By putting hdmi in gpu instead of motherboard I resolved everything! thanks bro
Omg it was literally bc I didn’t put my hdmi cable in my graphics card I put it in my motherboard thank u

@Itz Slush what did I do
Bro you vid here just saved my sanity. I just got done rebuilding my rig and it was hanging hard, weird part was it was haggis in the vga light, so i kept swaping from integrated to the old trying to figure it out, watched this and then it clicked as soon as you mentioned keyboard issues with ram. Turns out, one if the sticks was in fact doa. I now foot a return then but supper happy it was it least the ram and not the actually expensive stuff.
Thanks! Resetting the CMOS battery did it for me
I changed my CMOS battery CR2032. Thank you it worked for me.
