Thanks for this video man, I just formatted my pc and couldn't find a way to leave it without a password. Why did they change this ? It was so easy to leave it without a PIN or password. Some people just don't want all this safety, they have to respect that. Thanks bro

When I change the value it does not accept the change.
I am in an enterprise setting using 365 to administer and monitor the network. I’m sure that has to do with the why, but my SysAdmin is scratching his head as well.
We are trying to make it so when I spin up a new device for employees, they are not prompted for Authenticator/Hello when signing in for the first time.

i thought this would get rid of the option to choose to log in with either pin or password while logging into my computer. but no. I try to switch it back and it wont let me. I switch it back to 1 and it still does not let me change my stuff in my settings.

This work once on reboot. The second time I did reboot I had to sign in. I also always have to sign in after sleep mode. Why doesn't windows just have a simple on off button for sign ins?

is there a way I could get rid of the "sign in" button inside the login screen? I use multiple local accounts (audio, 3d, electronics, work, etc) so I can keep the computer more organized. I would like, when I click on the user in the list (to the left of the screen) to login automatically without having to also click that "sign in" button. What were they thinking when they designed that login screen: that if I click on a user, I don't want to sign in? WTF...? The login screen in Windows 7 was amazing, so nice, clear and FAST to use... is there something similar in Windows 10? can it be hacked?

it shows in this video change it to 0 than change back to 1 i think than you can pick w/e one you want.
Is there a group policy for this? Instead of modifying a registry key.
They do not have one that I know. But you do know that most of all changes done on group policy happens to the registry. It just a GUI interface.
@@HeltonsComputerRepair Thanks, and yes i do know its only a GUI. I just prefer using GPO in an enterprise when the setting is available vs using it to modify a registry. Again, many thanks! ive been looking for exactly this for a week now.

Niice but in my PC does not appear Policy, I have problem with login. Safe Mode don`t allow me to enter the pin or paassword.

I have watched 1000 of stupid videos which do not do anything, my problem is that I dont use any pass, just want to start laptop asap.
Then after screen off it welcomes me with stupid retarded login screen where I must press button to come to the Desktop, I HATE IT WITH A PASSION !
I hope this will remove that forever, if it does, this is the only video that people should see !

Didn't work for me. It forced me to set a new pin after rebooting
FIXED: to remove the sign-in, I had to change the account type to a local account. (it was purely a Microsoft account after resetting my PC)
