Beautiful. Maia Makhateli, perhaps one of the best in this difficult Rose Adagio - very expressive; however, I love Nacho Duato's Sleeping Beauty the best, so new and fresh, such beautiful costumes, but most of all because much of the Rose Adagio sequence has gone, albeit, the central balance still remaining. Have to say, these costumes are quite wonderful too in a more traditional way.
I have yet to see this adagio done without the visible fear and trepidation. That's why I ask myself, "Why keep it?"
Would love to see more of the incredibly beautiful dancer, Anna Tsygankova!
