I’m in my early thirties and this video helped me a lot! I really like watching makeup videos for ladies in the 40 and 50 age range because they help me far more than the makeup videos that are out for my age. The makeup gurus in their teens and 20s are gorgeous with beautiful looks, but wearing that look isn’t very beautiful on me lol I really appreciate a look this one that you did. Natural and stunning.
Another great video, Angie. I worked as an MA and surgical scrub for a great bunch of dermatologists for years and one important thing you need to share, is get that sunscreen on your eyebrows! Thank you so so much for this, i'm 37 and never worn make up. Tried once as a kid to cover spots and wasn't the best experience when i was already being bullied, it was just added another thing to be picked on for. All the youtube videos I've bumped in to have been what seem to be pretty full coverage, it's good to see one that's about a more natural look, it's making me feel less nervous about trying.

Here I am, over 50 and getting back into the world after the pandemic. I threw out all of my makeup that's been sitting around for over a year, and starting fresh! I realize that I never really wore much makeup and am thankful for your videos to re-learn.
Even though I watched this years ago I just watched it again. I’m almost 60 I stopped wearing makeup in my 30s and now I’m trying to get back into it. Thank you for giving us simple natural looking options
I just watched it again now as well. It's a great reminder how a few simple steps can have such a great effect. And Angie looks even prettier and younger in 2022! I wish I could afford an omnilux mask, because to me, that has been a game changer in her skincare. I have wrinkles around my mouth which are the bane of my existence, and there's very little that will disguise the darn things aargh!
@@ksc743 ugh ! I’ve used a straw to drink diet soda or coffee every day for years. The straw was to try to protect me teeth. But instead I got those wrinkles around my mouth that smokers get. Because sucking on the straw and smoking causes you to make the same motion with your mouth. Mine are bad ! But I don’t want to get them lasered or anything else. You are not your wrinkles and I’m sure people love you for being you
@@katrinat.3032 thanks Katrina! I saw a video where Angie discreetly places her index finger along her top lip when she uses a straw, to prevent that puckering.
I realised what happened with me is I walk my dogs every afternoon, and (until I started watching Angie's videos) relied on the spf in my foundation to protect my skin. I have really great sunglasses, so my eyes have little to no lines, but as I walked, the area around my mouth perspired and I never reapplied sunscreen.
Just shows what the sun does, much as I love it.
Would LOve laser or omnilux but will just hope, as you say, I am loved despite my wrinkles!! Have a wonderful day🍃🌸

This type of video is what I've been looking for. I love that you keep it simple. When people do easy, natural tutorials with blending sponges, a separate brush for every product, I'm like, "nope."

Great tips! I usually do a full “no makeup” look that takes 30+ minutes. I dropped the eyeshadow routine, which I’m not very good at to begin with, and added the shimmer on my lower lashes instead. This is something I plan to continue for my day to day look. Always great, informative videos that I look forward to!

Love this for the validation I need regarding makeup! I am 54 and just don’t feel comfortable in public without a little something to counter looking so washed out and tired with my bare face. This is pretty much my every day go-to process for application. I do have to spend more time with a color corrector for my under eye discoloration/eye bags before concealer and I curl my straight lashes. I do not wear mascara for my every day look either. I’ve convinced myself lash curling will suffice because mascara is a lot of work for me to apply and remove. My lashes are very uncooperative and everywhere, ugh! Plus, I feel like it’s a bit stressful on my little lashes.

This was very useful for real life , other looks you’ve demonstrated are beautiful for “ going out “, but this look with a few more add-ons is a perfect for errands, work, school, etc.
I love the tip about the eyebrows. I have noticed actresses wearing a more straight brow but wasn’t sure if that was their natural brow shape or if it’s a new look. Thanks for clarifying the look and giving a great “how-to’s ” to accomplish this look. Now, I’ll change my ways. 😘

Using an eyelash curler works wonders to open up the eye. I learned that gently heating the curler with a blow dryer before curling my lashes helps them hold the curl all day.

Great video idea. I prefer a minimal makeup look and don’t wear foundation or concealer, so this was great for those special times I may want to add a little coverage.
I really like cushion foundations & brow powder for ease of application & convenience. You don't even need a special powder for brows, if you've already got taupe or neutral brown eyeshadow you can just use that & then add clear gel if you need it. I've been hearing about cushion blushes & can't wait to try them too. Cushion products pack so easily & are easy to take with you if you need touch ups during the day ( great if it also contains spf)

Seriously THE BEST video I have watched (and trust me, they are many) on this subject. Some of the comments I've read joke about this (and they are funny), but it can be a great source of anxiety for many people (I suspect more women than men) during this time of "video interviews" and/or more recently, video employee "cocktail hours", or even when they are just trying to "face time" with someone with whom they have a personal relationship and are separated during this time. Seriously, I very much appreciate this information.
