    Do you experience any lag while driving in mountains? How do the gear ratios adjust automatically?

    • @arshdeepchhatwal7694
      @arshdeepchhatwal7694  Před 2 lety +1

      So the gear shifts are smooth and on time, the gear shifts up when required leaving no room for any power loss, giving you a good punch when you accelerate hard, so launching car or overtaking is nothing to even give a thought about , and with calm city drive also you wont feel that upshifts are taking extra seconds ,
      …not to mountains yet but when on mountains this gear box will perform wonderfully because i am aware with the driving dynamics of my other automatics which i have had driven on Hills.

    What abt rear seat comfort? Is it fine for long trip with 4 people ?

    • @arshdeepchhatwal7694
      @arshdeepchhatwal7694  Před 2 lety +2

      Rear seats are spacious for two, reclines and comfort is decent , it will be comfortable for 4-5 hour drive, what i dont like is all four seats are a little small in size with not so good under-thigh support, basically when i sit in Innova i can feel the difference in seating comfort,
      Dont expect it to be too comfortable but yes you cannot say its poor , its just OK and does the job, nothing special about seating comfort.
      The major drawback is its boot space, it can just carry 1 medium size suit case and a medium bag, so technically only one person’s luggage can fit in the boot for a long 3-4 day trip. Carrier can be used for luggage or your luggage fits in another car if its travelling with you, or consider it just a 2-seater if you dont like to have the carrier installed.

    I have a jeep compass and it is very silent in terms of outside noise like honks etc you hardly hear,how abt this car is it silent?

    • @arshdeepchhatwal7694
      @arshdeepchhatwal7694  Před 2 lety +1

      See we have to accept its a hardcore off-roader , the cabin is comfortably silent, but you can hear a very light noise from the tyres as it cruises on highways (maybe because of the offroad tyre design) , but it can be ignored with light music.
      And due to its boxy design the wind hits on the straight windshield On high speeds , and also has a very light wind noise, except these two factors there are no mechanical sounds from the car itself.
      I drive innova as well which is the epitome of comfort, and still i can travel in Thar petrol on long routes happily.
      But yes the offroad suspension and boxy design cannot keep it at par with sedan comfort, but when you compare it to the Jeep wrangler these factors will be there as well.
      And there is no comparison with the last gen thar, it was a hard and tough car which tires your out, but this one is light easy and petrol engine is super refined no noise and great punch on higher RPMs.

      Hello Greetings,
      I do not recommend you it as a primary car, because the major drawback is boot space, you cannot travel without adding a carrier on top,
      Secondly the rear seat are not comfortable for senior citizens on a long trip.

    • @arshdeepchhatwal7694
      @arshdeepchhatwal7694  Před 2 lety +5

      I think you are mistaken here, diesel is a better performer in small engines, but when it comes to big cars be it BMW 3series petrol is the winner, and also in the case here, diesel and petrol has same initial pickups, but once pass 3000 rpm, petrol wins the show,
      And in Drag race of D AT and P AT , Petrol will always be a winner in case of thar, i have driven both!
