He hunting down the tiger isn't just a spectacle. He hunts and catches all those animals to let them loose in the Britisher's garden party. Everything shown in the movie has purpose for the story. Nothing has been done just for the sake of spectacular visuals.

Some details about the movie & characters :
Originally Alluri Sita Rama Raju, since he when into forests for helping tribals, actually used to wear Saffron clothing and used bow & arrows (was also a sharp shooter) It was his approach to stand as a symbol of inspiration for tribals to revolt (known as Rampa Rebellion, with motto "Mande Rajyam" which translates to.. Ours is this kingdom) against British in Visakhapatnam agency. (Some believe that Alluri Rama Raju taking "Sanyas" (divine way of living) after death of his love Sita, was the reason for his Saffron attire). Sita really was his lover's name and after her death he changed his name from Alluri Rama Raju to Alluri Sita Rama Raju.
Born in the West-Godavari (a district of present Indian state Andhra Pradesh), in a Telugu Kshatriya family to Alluri Venkata Rama Raju and his wife Suryanarayanamma, after his parents died (when he was 12) was raised by his uncle Rama krishnam Raju. He was a well educated, civilized man who felt that the tribals are the ones being suppressed the most by british, and went to forests and dedicated his entire life for helping them fight british, although wasn't a tribal himself.
He used to do guerilla raids on British police stations (after informing & challenging them that he's going to come & attack and stop him if they can) and collect guns & weapons, using an army of armed tribals by training them.
It's said that it costed more than a million even in those days, for the british to finally find and execute him. They killed Rama Raju unethically while he's unarmed, performing a morning Prayer.
Komaram Bheem, a tribal himself from gond tribes of Adilabad (a district of the present Indian state "Telangana") is rumoured to be an extremely strong man, and to hunt a tiger by himself. He used to wear muslim disguises during his revolt against Nizam. He died fighting the Nizam's of Bhagyanagaram (Present day Hyderabad)
In Telugu states (Andhra, Telangana) everyone knows these things, maybe not in other states. They were referred as Sri Ram and Bheemasen (since long back before the movie even existed !!) from their names and features (Rama Raju's- Saffron Attire, his lover's name is "Sita", went to forests and made an army using tribals, man of extreme commitment, Komaram Bheem- Physical strength, Crude attacking nature, Perseverance) being similar to characteristics of Lord Ram from Ramayanam and Bheem from Mahabharatam and out of the level of reverence they've achieved from people.
Both left their homes almost in the same period and then returned after some time and started their revolutions against British and Nizam respectively. After returning home, Rama Raju started wearing Saffron clothing till the day he died fighting for tribals, and Bheem came back as an educated man and started his rebellion with motto.. Jal, Jangal, Jameen.. with translates to Water, Forest & Soil..
As no one has a clear idea about what happened to them in that period when they left, and what made them become revolutionaries.. the movie writer wrote a Fictional story that they met and became friends and Bheem was the one who gave Rama Raju a Saffron attire and that he got educated himself from Rama Raju, connecting everything that was remembered in telugu people hearts.. if we see carefully, we can see all these details used in the movie clearly.. The mythological references are used in bgms.. as these freedom fighters are actually revered by referring them as Lord Sri Rama and Bheemasen.. in many parts of Telugu states...
    Other details :
-Also The Indian Flag used throughout the movie was the older Berlin Committee Flag (designed by Madame Bhikaji Cama, Vinayak Damodar Savarkar and Shyamji Krishna Varma) corresponding to the time period.
(Current Indian flag was designed by Pingali Venkayya, also from Telugu land)
-Rama Raju is also referred by people as "Manyam Dhora".. which translates to King/Chief of the Wild Forests and Komaram Bheem is praised as "Gondu Bebbuli".. which translates to Ferocious Tiger of Gond tribes. These names are also referred in the Original (Telugu) movie version on zee5. The one in Netflix is Hindi dubbed (bollywood) version.
-The bike used by Bheem was the older world war version which were designed lightweight for men to lift and carry them when required.
-Names of Freedom fighters shown in the rrr movie ending song & which indian state they belong to & their language :
-Subhash Chandra Bose (state west bengal/ orissa, language Bengali)
-Sardar Vallabhai Patel (state Gujarat, language Gujarati)
-Kittur Rani Chennamma (state Karnataka, language kannada)
-V.O.Chidambharam pillai (state Tamil nadu, language Tamil)
-Bhagat Singh (state Punjab, language Punjabi)
-Tanguturi Prakasam panthulu (also RRR Heroes Alluri SitaRama Raju & Komaram Bheem) (state Andhra, language Telugu)
-Varma Pazhassi Raja (state Kerala, language malayalam)
-Chatrapathi Sivaji (state Maharashtra, language Marathi)

But it can confuse you due to double role (Father - Son) of lead actor and cultural reference, for watching BAHUBALI you must have some experience with Indian Cinema atleast 50 movies then you may able to grasp most of the bahubali. It is the highest grossing movie in India.

28:50 .. "Slumdog Millionaire" is NOT Indian movie .. It is Br!tish movie .. and many Indians dont like it bcz it portrays India in a very exaggerated stereotypical way by PoV of a Br!tisher.

Characters of Ram and Bhim and many scenes were inspired from our Ancient History and Gods....
Ram: Lord Ram was 7th incarnation of Lord Vishnu (who runs and maintains Universe) and here in movie Ram's climax scene costume was taken from Ram's statue and that costume and weapon is same as Lord Ram had. Also Lord Ram's wife name was Sita and here it was followed in movie as well.
Bhim: Bhim was very powerful warrior from our Ancient History. In many books it is said that he had a power of 100 elephants. That is why here Bhim has shown so powerful.
Last climax scene where Ram says Bhim to Load, Aim and Shoot was taken from our History Mahabharat where Lord Krishna (8th Incarnation of Lord Vishnu) directed like same to Arjun who was one of the greatest warrior. Lord Krishna guided Arjun to shoot arrows to evil ones.
Lord Ram was picked on shoulder by Lord Hanuman which was also taken in Climax scene.
There are many such references in this movie

Here are some suggestions from a few directors and Actors where you can start from
    1. Films of Anurag Kashyap (Gangs of Wasseypur part 1,2)
    2. Shoojith Sircar's "Sardar Udham" (Got rejected for an oscar submission due to political reasons of how the film potrays against someone but it's very dumb of them to cancel on those aspects since we have films like Schindlers' list)
    3. Lokesh Kanagaraj's Kaithi and Vikram.... (A universe of it's own)
    4. Hey Ram by Kamal Haasan ( Like literally, he wrote, acted, directed, produced and is also a dance, make up artist, choreographer, Technician, singer and a lot of other things you can explore)
    5. And for nice romantic films that hollywood might not have ever done or seen is a film called 96 by Vijay sethupathi and Trisha

Or did you mean something else by your question ?
Also the legendary figure that ram resembles at the end with bow , arrow and flowing hair was not a revolutionary. Rather, he is a god in the hindu religion, called Lord Rama. So, he is supposed to have become a figurative reincarnation of that god come to eliminate the british forces.

@@moviechatterpodcast Bahubali 1 and 2 can come close next to what RRR is. They were directed by the same guy who made RRR. Watch their trailers first and you'll know you can watch them. Maybe then you can try Eaga, again by the same director, Pokiri, then probably either Rangasthalam or Pushpa. I'm only recommending the films from the masala genre. That's how we call this type of films in India.

      1. Catering to your love for Rajamouli sir- Bahubali 1&2, Egga
      2. KGF1&2 continuing the over the top action, adrenaline and testosterone
      3. 3 idiots( an emotional ride packed with comedy which was a coming of age story for Indian education system)
      4. Sardar Udham( a gut hitting real story on the horrors of British Raj with arguably the GREATEST piece of on screen massacre scene in the history of global cinema) available on Amazon prime
      5. Padmavat, Bajirao Mastani -by great Sanjay Leela Bhansali (After Rajamaouli sir, if your eyes still want to be pleased )
All of these are a master piece in themselves. Though they don’t even scratch the surface, but can be a good gateway. Hope to see your reviews on them soon.

Some details about the movie characters :
Originally Alluri Sita Rama Raju, wasn't a tribal himself. he when into forests for helping tribals, he used to wear Saffron clothing and used bow & arrows (was also a sharp shooter) resembling Hindu god "RAM". It was his approach to stand as a symbol of inspiration for tribals to revolt (known as Rampa Rebellion, with motto "Mande Rajyam" which translates to..
He used to do guerilla raids on British police stations (after informing them that he's going to come & attack, and challenging them to stop him if they can) and collect guns & weapons, using an army of armed tribals by training them.
It's said that it costed more than a million even in those days, for the british to finally find and execute him. They killed Rama Raju unethically while he's unarmed, performing a morning Prayer.
Komaram Bheem, a tribal himself from the Gond tribes of Adilabad (a district of the present Indian state "Telangana") is rumoured to be an extremely strong man, and to hunt a tiger by himself. He used to wear muslim disguises during his revolt against Nizam. He died fighting the Nizam's of Bhagyanagaram (Present day Hyderabad, Capital city of Telangana)
In Telugu states (Andhra, Telangana) everyone knows these things, maybe not in other states. They were referred as Lord Sri Ram (Hindu God) and Bheemasen (Mythological warrior) long back before the movie even existed !! from their names and features (Rama Raju's- Saffron Attire, his lover's name is "Sita", went to forests and made an army using tribals, man of extreme commitment, Komaram Bheem- Physical strength, Crude attacking nature, Perseverance) being similar to characteristics of Lord Ram from Ramayanam and Bheem from Mahabharatam and out of the level of reverence they've achieved from people. The movie just used these references, to make it more spectacular.
Both left their homes almost in the same period before they started their revolutions against British and Nizam respectively.

Here is a piece of advice to all cinema lovers, "while entering into a cinema hall, leave your brain outside". You are not there to use your brain, your are there for rest and entertainment. Bcoz, if you use your brain in cinema hall while watching movies, you will not be able to enjoy them, instead you will start thinking, how a guy with a cape and underwear over his pants can break gravity, and how he is changing directions in the mid air.🤔. Now where is the entertainment in it. So, don't use brain to avoid logics while watching a movies, unless it's a history and real life base story, which is an exception. Please read the synopsis of the movie before visiting the theatre, it will help you to decide whether brain is required or not while watching the movie. 🤣🤣🤣🤣
