Exactly! If I saw that, I would take the shirt off my back to ensure the baby was warm, and go to the nearest vet to ensure the baby was ok, I wouldn’t be able to take it. The poor lad. Baby animals don’t deserve to be alone, they’re so little, and innocent, they haven’t done much of anything, let alone anything that warrants being abandoned.

PearButter 2007 it sounds fucked up but the babies that loose their mom basically starve to death, they don’t get any food or anything else, it will suffer less if it dies with its mom instead out in the sun with no food or water, suffering for days even weeks

Sloths don't live on beaches, thats a stereotype of Costa Rica that everything is a beach. We have cities and rainforests, and sloths live in the rainforests
The Neon Otter but in the video it said the baby was found by a couple walking on the beach though they may live in the forest for some reason this little fella was on the beach when he was rescued.

You can sleep when they do. Oh man, I can't count how many times I have fed/pottied/cleaned a litter of bottle babies and fell asleep with them in my lap.
Its merciless for the first few days especially, I don't know what I would do if not for my sister to pop in and help.
One year I had gotten TWO LITTERS of kittens, four starlings and four puppies. It was after a nasty hurricane and the small rescue center I volunteered for had to take over my neighbors house as a makeshift vet/nursery till they could fix up their place.
My neighbor is a saint, she rents the house next to me out an when she saw the trailers of animals in my front yard she inquired. An then said they could set up in her house as long as they needed so tgey didn't have to stay in the trailers an my garage. She even had the grace to lend them her power generator for the heating pads for the littlest ones. I miss her to this day.
That lil guy should inspire anyone against all odds this vulnerable creature will survive

Two toed sloths even newborns are fighters they do not give up easy, plus the fact that there diet is so much broader that a 3 toed sloth of any kind, also allows this little guy the ability to get stronger quicker. This baby is so small and cute I would have to store it in my gums like a squirrel , lol.

I don't see the point in investing all of these resources into one baby sloth? Are they endangered or something? Because, this is actually interfering with nature. In nature, some live, some die.

at the end of the episode it was told tiny did not survive, he was too small to be without his mom
Never been able to work out how such a slow moving helpless creature isn't extinct.
is it the three toed sloth which went extinct for ten or twenty years till one day a person spotted a sloth with three toes and it made international news that somehow, just a few must have survived? it was that or something like a blank footed ferret...I forget but huge news back in the 80s when I was a kid. I also, personally, totally believe that the Tasmania tiger still lives and i forgot if the international organization most responsible for keeping information on animals (can't remember what the heck it is called at the moment) or if it was even a more well known entity like Smithsonian who just a few months ago came out and accepted that it is possible the pterodactyl or pteradon might still have one or two very small communities as the evidence and sightings of them continue and have been steady since the 1800s where hunters regularly reported killing them and some even took photographs, one being a likely hoax, but three or four which are otherwise impossible to explain.
I think that it’s because of the trees,That is there Home,meaning they can hide up there for HOURS without even realizing it! If they stay up in there long enough,They begin to get moss on them! Can you believe that? I can’t.
But I do because they are slow,And cute! That’s why you have to clean them for (something I can’t remember sorry) so that’s what I adore most!! Them getting baths!
Actually they preserve their energy! When they are attacked they move FAST scratching bitting and hissing to get the attacker away.

Bestfriendsmanship is so good, and then when he's not a tiny little baby anymore, it's okay because of the good teamwork.
