    Y’all health experts need to chill. My grandmother ate like this all her life and was never in the hospital until she was 99. Thanks for the info. Been watching your vids and tryna pick 2 places to eat for my short stay coming up next month.

    My biscuits and gravy mix is very close, instead of ketchup, I use fresh cut tomatoes, hot sauce, hash browns, and everything else. People don’t know until they try it and then they know. Looks fantastic! Thanks for the review!

    Oh boy you are killing me with that food! My Mom who passed away in 2015 was a Bardstown girl and made all that food for us growing up. I miss her so much and her cooking! Hello from New England! Fun video!

    I remember it was called Daniel Boone restaurant prior to being renamed to Stephen Foster restaurant. The food is absolutely delicious! My mom loved the stewed tomatoes. My 98 year old aunt still goes there. Thanks for the video!

    I was there a few weeks ago. We got there at lunch. But then they were setting out dinner too. It was delicious! The fish was really good too. I got the Salisbury steak too. I made a bowl of beans too. We definitely will be going back soon!

    Oh I love a good ole basic buffet. Haven't been to one in years. Wish someone in Louisville would introduce a nice, well run and well kept buffet. Of course, I also loved Blue Boar with the cafeteria style too. Nice review.❤

    Saw your review about the Whistle Stop in Glendale, which was good. I was surprised though you never took the time to review TONY YORK'S ON Main, right across from the fire station. It is excellent, Don't be fooled by the white table cloths, because Tony is a down to earth country boy who treats everybody like a friend, Give it a try!!

    You should go sometime when they have breakfast AND lunch out. Best bang for the buck. I can't believe you didn't try the fish. I started going to to this place back in the late 70s/early 80s when it was half the size it is now. Back then they also served mini-burgers (not sure if they still do) that were a great dupe for White Castle. I wish we had a place like this in Louisville.

    Barry I know you like hot sauce but, have you ever tried Cayenne Pepper powder? I love it on my eggs, Mac & Cheese, etc…I think it adds heat without the vinegary taste. Try it you’ll like it!!! Enjoy your channel!

    I've grown up in bardstown and always enjoyed going here with my folks. Their breakfast buffet is very good too! However like many places, they've raised their prices so much it's been difficult to go back as much as I would like.

    When it comes to buffets, I am a picker of taking the spoon & picking out what I like from the roasted, like shrimp, meats .
    I usually pass the veggies.

    As someone who work in the " food service industry" for over 25 yrs, the food my be good but atleast half of it is NOT homemade. It comes premade( pies, cobbler, meatloaf, salbury steaks & a few others) off a Sysco truck. The fish, chicken, country ham & veggies are the few things actually "Country cooking".
