Great review. I wish more people educated themselves regarding the multitude of options available in todays techno world. The proper tires require an assessment on a variety of levels. There are multiple factors that need to be considered when buying tires. I’m considered elderly now. (66 years old) But I was taught long ago there are 4 basic factors to consider. Form, fit, function and available funds. Each category is weighted equally. 25% per category. All things in life require balance. Do your home work. Knowledge is powerful. Only then can you make the best decision for your individual circumstances and situation.
The tires on my Jeep TJ wear down the hardest in the front. That goes for all the Jeeps I owned with KO2's and Geolandars M/T. If my memory serves me right, I read somewhere that the siping on the blocks of the Yokohama Geolandar M/T G003 is 80% of the block depth. So it's strange that they start to wear down already.
Happy to hear your having great luck with these tires. I bought bfg ko2’s for my ram 2500 less then 8,000 miles and the tread is chunking off. This is my 3rd set for 3 different cars and this set is horrible
BFGS are over rated. I’ve got around 60k on my Toyo mts and I don’t really have any complaints. They’re just on a 1500 though. I have 33x12.50r20 and they are 12 ply. I checked the pressure in them the other day and they all were around 10 psi and you could barely see the smallest bit of bow. I don’t drive it everyday but I’ve been all over construction sites with them and never one puncture I’ve spun them on the pavement every now and then and no chipping. I do like the way these look though. I’ve heard those coppers stt pro where good tires. I had a pair of old bfg mud terrian ta and I would take another set of those but don’t think they make them anymore.
i have a 1995 z71 single cab with 9 inches of lift, that i have had for 24 yrs no,ive ran all kinds of mud tires mostly bfg,but i wanted to try something different so i got.a set of these about 5 or 6 yrs ago but its not my daily driver,i notice by driving fast in turns on the streets that the fronts wear out faster and the back still look great, the fronts are kinda rounded off on the edges which bums me out and like i said i hardly ever drive the truck so i kinda think they might be wearing a bit faster than the bfg's im not 100 5 sure its been a while since i had those,BUT i love the look of the yokohama's they look pretty narly to me,i did drive in the snow and ice once and im in texas,a couple years back we had a bad storm it was like zero degrees for. a week and snowed about 5 or 6 inches where im at,as long as i was in 4 wheel drive i was fine,in two wheel drive i hit that black ice and omg it scared the hell out of me that ass end went sideways but i corrected it and then put it in four wheel haha and went back home,i was out of dip and needed it bad plus stores were closed. when i got there, nice looking tires though i like them.i will go look at the slits your talking about right now haha
I figure they do this because if they had them cut all the way down they would feel super squirmy. It’s not like it’s saving them money by only cutting sipes in partially. It’s give and take.
I didn't see any more reviews of these. Did you eventually loose all the siping? I was looking at Cooper Evolution M/T, have you ever tried those? They are highly reviewed and only $20 each difference between these Geo's vs the Evolution MT. Cant find any good comparisons between the two.
How are you comparing those to tires? Like a Mickey T all terrain and a bfg mt? Do u want a mud tire or all terrian? Copper has tire called evolution think it’s like in between at and mt. Atturo has a mean mt out looks really good it’s actually rated as mts so has a snow rating.
Man, I have them in 295/65r20 Straight away, brand new... Noisy. That shit reeew reeeew reeew noise old tyres make. Have ran all sorts of muddies before and I didn't expect these expensive ones to be louder compared to the cheaper ones I normally run.
I reckon the noise is down to that rim size and lack of sidewall/rigidity of the smaller side wall. I've got them in r15s and they are way quieter then the equivalent BF Goodrich k02
Best looking MT ever
Thanks for the update. I didn’t realize that you did an update already.

Please update us with snow performance when you get a chance. Thank you

Did you like the Milestars better ?

Why not re-sipe them ?
Any radial pull with these tires?
1st rotation at 10k?
You can re sipe a tire
Oil leak fixed?
Nope. This was previously recorded.
Hard to decide between these KM3s and Mickey Thompson Baja boss At.

@@apbt067 I would say the Baja boss tires are a hybrid more then AT. I will have to check out the atturo mts thanks for the suggestion.

In the process of getting them for my 09 F-250 (275/65r20). Mostly use truck for plowing, was wondering if you ran them in snow ?
@@nampjones8265 nah not yet. Great in mud. So I'm assuming similar in snow?
I'm in Western Australia so no snow really for me to test
@@DarrenBoxhall Thanks for the quick reply, I'm in northeast PA. We get snow pretty much
@@nampjones8265have you tried it in snow? If so, how do you like them?
