Man , i've been watching your channel for round about 4 years now.
    Sometimes more frequently sometimes less.
From the beginning i noticed that you were unbelievably good at understandig complex concepts and were able to give them back in a more digestable manner.
The practical recreation of those concepts werent the best back then but for me it was enough to understand the concept and do the rest by myself.
Im glad to see you grow and im utterly impressed by the progress and the quality u are getting out.
    My deepest respect!
U are the man dude !

      Hey man,
Thank you so much. I remember your name from the early days so thanks for supporting my work for so long!

If you loop an extremely short section of random noise (up to a few hundred samples at most), then give it steps with a bit reduction to 8 bits or less, you should get a similar starting sound to work with. The very short section stops it from being totally random and gives it a tone, and the steps give it 'grit'. Then you can add filters/eq.

yeah that's a cool idea, I assume you tune to a given key by calculating length in samples to cut or something like that or do you tune afterwards?

@@Projektor_music It's a bit like a wavetable, but has some shortcomings. If the sampler plays back at normal rate at middle C and sampling rate is 44.1kHz then use a loop length of 169 samples (closest integer for sampling frequency divided by note frequency). It almost exactly at middle C then. The limit is you have to play below middle C if you want the exact waveform to be repeated. For a pure white noise sample it can be a bit hit and miss, but having noise and 'not noise' in the same section alters the sound. I did see you used a similar technique for 'tones' in one of you other videos on sound design. A filter afterwards is essential to get a half decent sound, but you can select parts of a sample to use with relative ease.

fantastic tutorial mate. you really have a talent to explain complex audio stuff in a very understandable way without wasting too much time.

These type of synths are genuinely by far the most fun to make, at least for me

Do you have comment or opinion on this: I have completely lost interest in producing music or even listening to music after hearing what kind of music AI can do? :D

I have deliberately decided not to interact with that AI music but I doubt it would hinder me from doing the thing that I love...
