    Took me awhile to be able to find a good video. Took a lot of looking around on CZcams. I feel like CZcams only shows videos they think you want to see in searches.

    For the caulking step, can it be apply over the whole facia? Not just the scrapped area or repairs??

    After you patch the gaps in the fascia do you sand it first before painting? Also, do we need to put primer on before painting? Thank you.

      @mrwallsvegas  Před 3 lety +5

      If you apply caulk like I do you don't have to sand and depending on the type of paint that you use is where you have to decide to prime or just apply two coats of the paint

    hi great video. I sanded the facia and gave it 2 coats of primer. then 2 coats of sherman Williams A100 , how long do you think it will last here in California.

    Thank you. I had the faccia replaced last summer and am going to caulk and paint. You didn't paint the other side, should that be done also?

    • @mrwallsvegas
      @mrwallsvegas  Před 2 lety +1

      Yes if is a brand new wood it should be prime and paint you don't want the moisture to get inside the wood and ruin it

    What kind of caulk do u use?

    • @mrwallsvegas
      @mrwallsvegas  Před 2 lety +2

      Elastomeric caulking works the best but if you have regular caulk it will be alright it all the depends on the type of weather that you have in the place where you live

    Dude, I used an Eastwood CONTOUR SCT® - Surface Conditioning Tool, for removing the old paint, does it 50x faster and, 10 times better too 💪

    • @mrwallsvegas
      @mrwallsvegas  Před rokem

      A single story house will run between 600 to 700 and a two story house between 800 to 900 labor and materials

      Depending on the damage prep work and wether is a single story or a two story it really depends on the particular situation I will have to take a look at it to give you an accurate number
