i liked that cute piggy bank at the beginning but not $20 worth of cute. Seems like Goodwill sometimes puts crazy prices on their stuff.

A friend of mine got a bear cookie jar and glued the lid down, then she put a bunch of hot glue in a pile, on the front, and steamed some glue up to the bears hand (if you put a fine wire from one place, up to the hand, you can put layers of hot glue along the wire, to the thickness you like.). She used a watercolor paint, to paint the glue a pale yellow, to make it look like honey, after she stuck little bees onto the glue, and some on fine wires, to make it look like they were flying, and placed a little sign, that said "honey" on it. It turned out sooo cute, and it was a way to turn a plain bear cookie jar, into a cute spring and summer decor!

The wooden bowl is a knitting bowl, you put your ball of wool in the bowl and feed the wool through to stop it getting tangled.

I think the Wren was carved wood. Sometimes with a really tight grained wood it's hard to tell. It was very cute though.
