I saw dragon boat races only once. The boats were a bit different, much more ornate, particularly on the front. I used to work with a woman who was on a breast cancer survivor team and their team represented Canada at an international competition and won! I see there was a breast cancer category at this competition too.

I Google there are 18-20 rowers in a large Drangon Boat. The person that calls row is the steerperson. In Portland,Oregon in June for our Rose Festival there are Drangon Boat Races.The Boats are so beautiful.The Drummer keeps the rhythm for the rowers. Thank you for Sharing.
