  • 4 KW Heating Elements, got tired of trial and many errors. I pair these up in a Dual tube manifold and crank up the heat. I will sell these elements separate or with the ceramic tubes, Fluidbed Coffee Roaster , Heating Elements.

      I only have the elements right now $40 , my ceramic tubes have a dip in the middle that wont allow my elements to slide in , so reorder time give me about a week. You can email me koffeegrounds@gmail.com

    Hi mate, nice FB roaster you have there. I’m planing on putting a small one together that can roast 250g of beans, what type of blower would you recommend for that amount of beans ? I will be using a heatgun element.

      A small Ametek 5.7 inch blower you wint need more than 60 cfm or less.

    Are you running one or more of these for your roaster, and what is the voltage and amperage of your roaster? Is there a finished product, or still on the drawing board? I’m no genius about such things, but is it typical to have elements in tubes? Does this involve a fan/convection design? Like I said, not an expert.

      I run these in tandem, in a split manifold, 4K each 220V 15 amp each element. And no this is not experimental, been running these in my roasters for about 2 years , I get about 2000 lbs out of them

      mhotes you’re not saying 2,000 lbs in a single roast, are you?

    • @roastedright
      @roastedright  Před 5 lety +1

      @@therealjimvick no I get about 2000 lbs per lifespan on a single element

    How much element do I need for a 4" roasting chamber? I was thinking 4500 watts. Sound right?

    • @roastedright
      @roastedright  Před 5 lety

      It's not the size of the chamber it's how many Lbs of beans do you want to roast and in combination with your air /cfm that determines your wattage
